PRIAPISM
Priapism is a disorder in which the p***s maintains a prolonged ,rigid er****on in the absence of appropriate stimulation.
Any er****on of the p***s lasting for 4 hours or more without stimulation is considered priapism.
Causes: nonischemic priapism can be as a result of blood flow from the arteries of the p***s not working properly.

SOMEONE asked me to give lectures on Tubal health and IVF...... anyway let me break it down for everyone to understand.....

(ANS)

NOW ONCE the eggs is released from the o***y, it must travel down to the Fallopian tubes for fertilization and eventually implantation in the uterus( womb)

IF the Fallopian tubes are closed due to scar tissue
(Adhesion) Is Interposed between the ovaries and tubes, fertilization won't occur

CONDITIONS that may contribute to tubal blockage or adhesions include severe

(1) Pelvic infection
(2) Endometriosis
(3) Prior pelvic surgery
(4) Tubal pregnancies
(5) Appendicitis

THE
======== (Hysterosalpingogram) (HSG) is a radiographic test used to see whether the tubes are blocked. It is usually scheduled in the first half of the cycle at least several days after menstruation has ceased... AFTER Inserting a speculum, the Doctor places a small catheter into the cervix and inject a contrast dye into the Uterus and tubes. X rays are now taken, if the tubes are patent (open) dye will emerges from the tubes, if they are obstruction, the doctor note the location of the blockage

THE HSG will also provides information regarding to Uterine abnormalities such as

(1) Polyps
(2) Fibroid
(3) Unusual shaped uterus... In some cases

LAPAROSCOPY will be introduced if the HSG are not clear

IF your tubes are beyond salvage, some doctors will give you options of ( IVF) in this procedure, YOUR eggs are removed from the ovaries during LAPAROSCOPY Or with a needles that is directed by ultrasonic guidance..

THE EGGS are then fertilized with s***m in the laboratory, the fertilized eggs divides several times forming a ball of cells called The (EMBRYO), WHICH is now placed directly into the uterus through the va**na. You have one in a five chances of success with each in vitro attempts

GIFT AND ZIFT are variations of IVF that involves transferring of eggs directly into a healthy portion of tubes .
