The Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of Mkar, Mkar, is enveloped in profound sorrow following the passing of Professor Alexander Ikeme. His departure leaves an immeasurable void, marking a significant loss to the academic community and the field of food science.
Professor Ikeme was more than just an educator; he was a pillar of the department. His expertise, dedication, and passion for food science were evident in his tireless efforts to nurture and inspire countless students. He possessed a rare ability to impart knowledge with clarity and enthusiasm, fostering a learning environment that encouraged critical thinking and innovation.
