I recently began a mentorship program at JIIPCC Academy, where I enrolled in the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) class, and I must say the first day was a great start.

One of the key lessons I took away is that anyone who wants to venture into the ADR space must first learn to be truly neutral. Your neutrality is often reflected in how you communicate with the parties involved, and that communication can shape the entire resolution process.

Alongside this, our mentors broke down several foundational concepts that gave me much-needed clarity for the journey ahead. It was insightful, practical, and a solid introduction to the field.

With the next five weeks ahead, I’m excited to deepen my understanding of ADR and everything it represents.

DOES HARDWORK PAYS OR TRAINS?

Hard work is often said to “pay,” but in reality, its value goes beyond immediate rewards.
In today’s world, it is common to see individuals achieve certain things with little visible effort, while others invest significant time and energy yet struggle to attain the same results. This contrast can make it seem as though hard work does not always yield tangible benefits.

However, hard work should not be viewed solely as a direct path to reward. Rather, it serves as a form of training building resilience, discipline, competence, and the capacity to handle challenges that might overwhelm others. It equips individuals with the strength and skill set needed to navigate complex situations effectively.

In this sense, it is not hard work itself that pays, but the value it produces. The skills acquired, character developed, and results achieved are what ultimately attract reward. Therefore, hard work is not wasted; it is an investment in growth, and its payoff lies in what it prepares you to become and accomplish.
