*GOOD NEWS!! IMPORTANT UPDATE*
Swifin will open trading in a few days. To make this possible, some adjustments are being made to adequately maximize available liquidity while allowing everyone to withdraw, transact, trade, and use Mcash freely.
*1. What is Swifin doing right now?*
Swifin is developing a Smart Contract that will place everyoneโs SFN into the contract and lock it for a specific period of time.
*2. Does this mean we cannot use our SFN?*
No. You will be able to withdraw a portion of your SFN every month. The Smart Contract will release a portion of your locked SFN into your account monthly, which you can use freely on the system. This includes withdrawals through Flutterwave, bank transfers, and other supported transactions.
*3. How long will the money be locked?*
The Smart Contract will run for a maximum of 24 months. However, Swifin Global may decide to unlock or disable the contract earlier if the ecosystem is sufficiently built and the Swifin platform gains popularity within a shorter period.
*4. Does Swifin have liquidity?*
Yes! Swifin currently has a little over USD 19 million in liquidity to kick-start the project.
*5. Why did Swifin decide to lock balances if it already has liquidity?*
There are over 15 million SFN currently held in usersโ wallets on the blockchain. If withdrawals were opened without control, Swifin would need to spend over USD 15 million immediately.
Instead, Swifin intends to use part of its liquidity to build and expand the ecosystem across the continentโnot just to allow a few people to withdraw and leave without contributing to ecosystem growth.
*6. How much will we be able to withdraw every month?*
The Smart Contract will allow users to receive between 0.333% and 0.5% of their locked balance every month.
For example:
If you have 10,000 SFN locked, at the end of one month you will receive:
10,000 ร 0.333% = 33.33 SFN,
which is approximately USD 34 per month.
The more SFN you have locked, the more you will receive monthly. The unlocked amount depends entirely on the total SFN you have locked.
*7. What happens to the SFN we receive monthly from our locked balance?*
The unlocked SFN becomes tradable SFN. You can use it to:
*Withdraw funds
*Stake
*Pay for Zano
*Pay for goods or services on the marketplace
*Send peer-to-peer
*Withdraw Mcash
*And perform other supported transactions
*8. How will withdrawals be done?*
Currently, Flutterwave is the first available withdrawal option. Countries where Flutterwave operates will be able to withdraw through banks or mobile money.
For countries where Flutterwave is not available, Swifin is actively working to provide alternative withdrawal channels.
*9. What about users who sent their SFN to MetaMask?*
Users who hold SFN in MetaMask are free to use it however they choose. Swifin does not control transactions that take place outside the Swifin platform.
*10. Will I be allowed to send SFN from MetaMask to my Swifin account and withdraw?*
Here is how it will work:
Every wallet address on the Swifin platform is registered under a userโs name. The system can detect inbound transfers from outside the platform.
If you send SFN from MetaMask to any Swifin account, the system will automatically classify it as a locked Smart Contract balance, and it will be added to your locked balance. After 30 days, you will begin receiving your monthly unlocked SFN.
*11. What about users whose SFN was annulled and not returned?*
All users with annulled but outstanding SFN will receive their balances in their wallets before the Smart Contract takes effect.
This also includes users who still have balances on the old app.
*12. I already swapped my SFN on SDEX to my local currency. What should I do?*
If you swapped your SFN into local currency, please swap it back to SFN immediately to avoid losses.
The system will automatically erase those balances if they remain in local currency.*
*13. I staked all my SFN already. What will happen?*
All staked SFN will be Annulled and returned to your account before the Smart Contract takes effect.
*14. What about users who want additional SFN?*
You can purchase SFN directly from the system or through National Companies.
Swifin will also credit well-established National Companies with SFN to enable them to begin Mcash services in their respective countries.
15. *What will happen during the first month of the Smart Contract?*
*Within the first month, Swifin will:
*Conduct training sessions
*Hold daily briefings
*Structure National Companies
*Recruit and train support staff
As the rollout continues, everyone is encouraged to prepare actively. The faster the market is captured, the sooner all SFN can be fully released from the Smart Contract.
Swifin thanks you for your patience, dedication, and commitment.
Best regards,
*_The Swifin Team*_
