Makurdi Gets Facelift as Gov. Alia Kicks Off Asphalting of Busy Old Otukpo Road Stretch

Relief is in sight for motorists and residents as Governor Hyacinth Alia begins the long-awaited asphalting of the Old Otukpo Road, covering the stretch from the Underpass to the Road Safety Junction in the Benue State capital.

The project, which commenced Tuesday, targets one of Makurdi’s most heavily used corridors and is expected to ease traffic, improve safety, and boost commerce along the route.

Work is already underway.
