SAFETY TIPS: – OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Always remember to light up the fire with your matches first before turning on the burner.
2. For camping burners, do not use your mouth to blow off the fire instead turn off the burner through the control jack after cooking.
3. Make sure you buy a quality/original regulator that will be suitable for the cylinder valve size.
4. Learn how to connect the hose to the regulator outlet and also to the burner properly well and don’t forget to tighten the hose with a clip at the connection points.
5. Do NOT under/over tighten the hose with clips so as not to destroy the hose, in case you don’t know how to connect the hose, it is best to seek for guidelines and instruction from the technician & professionals at the gas plant station.
6. When connecting the regulator to the cylinder valve, always make sure that the regulator handle is in OFF position and that all tap openings of gas consuming appliances e.g. burner, oven, etc. are closed. Also repeat the same process when removing the regulator.
7. When testing for leakages either on the valve, burner or regulator, use a soapy water solution for best result.
8. Avoid exposing the regulator to any atmospheric agents e.g. dust, dirt, smoke, sunlight, etc. or to any hazardous environmental conditions such as intense heat, as this pose a great risk to damaging the regulator.
9. Always remember to turn OFF your regulator after cooking in other to avoid any unforeseen gas leakage that can occur as a result of faulty cylinder valve, hose, burners or careless openings and rusting of the oven.
10. Do NOT allow or permit a naked fire close to gas cylinder/tank so as to prevent any force of attraction between any escaping/leaking gas & the fire.
11. Ensure to store gas cylinder/tank both filled and unfilled at a cool area and at a temperature not above 40'C.
12. Do NOT allow or permit a novice, children or untrained persons to operate and service on the cooking gas appliances.
