I don’t know why I love this cooking of a thing, because every time I enter the kitchen, drama must happen. One minute I’m feeling like a professional chef, the next I’m running for my life because oil decided to misbehave.
Cooking will deceive you with sweet aroma, making you think you’re doing well—until you taste the food and realize salt and pepper just had a fight. Sometimes I even talk to my pot like, “Abeg, don’t disgrace me today.”
But no matter how stressful it gets, I still love it. Because when the food finally turns out nice, I feel like I just won a cooking competition. And when it doesn’t? Well… Indomie no dey far. 😅🍜
