Breaking news:

Niger state to re-open schools for both public and private schools from 4th October, 2020.

Details below:

✓ all teachers are to return to their respective schools/ duty stations from 29th September, 2020

✓ JSS 1 and 2 are to attend morning session and SS 1 and 2 to attend evening session

✓ Public primary schools 1-3 to attend morning session while 4-6 evening session.

✓ All private senior and junior sec schools and primary schools are to re-open and operate in line with COVID-19 protocols.

✓ All Tsangaya , Quranic islamiyya and faith Based schools to re-open in line with COVID-19 protocols

✓ 3rd term: 4th Oct. 2020 to 18th Dec. 2020. 11weeks
Holidays: 19th Dec. 2020 to 2nd Jan. 2021 2weeks
2021 Academic Calendar
✓ First term: 3rd Jan. 2021 to 26th Mar. 2021 11 weeks
Holidays: 27th March, 2021 to 10th April, 2021.
2 weeks

✓2nd term: 11th April, 2021 to 18th June, 2021. 10weeks
Holiday: 19th June, 2021 to 26th June, 2021. 1 week

✓ 3rd term: 27th June, 2021 to 17th Sep., 2021. 11 wks
Holiday: 18th Sep., 2021 to 2nd Oct., 2021. 2 weeks.

Note:
ALL schools ( private inclusive) must observe THIRD TERM.
