INVITATION FOR SCREENING

The Secretariat of Senator Mohammed Sani Musa International Scholarship wishes to inform all applicants whose names appear on the published list that they are hereby invited to appear before the Scholarship Screening Committee as scheduled below:

Date: Tuesday, July 8th, 2025
Venue: White House, No. 61 Mu’azu Road, Opposite Old Secretariat, Minna, Niger State. Time : 12:00PM

All shortlisted candidates are required to come along with the original copies/photocopy of the following documents:

1. Acknowledgement Slip (Proof of Scholarship Application)

2. O’Level Result (WAEC/NECO)

3. JAMB Result/Printout

4. Local Government Indigene Certificate

5. National Identification Number (NIN) Slip

6. Primary School Leaving Certificate

Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa Inaugurates International Scholarship Selection/Implementationion Committee

On Thursday, June 27th, 2025, Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa officially inaugurated the International Scholarship Selection/Implementation Committee. The inauguration ceremony was conducted on his behalf by the Chairman of his Advisory Council, Bisalla Babasule, Sarkin Shanu Suleja, who congratulated the newly appointed committee members and presented their letters of appointment.

While delivering the Senator’s message, Mr. Babasule noted that the appointments were made in recognition of the members’ integrity, professionalism, and commitment to excellence.
He further charged them to carry out their responsibilities diligently, ensuring transparency and merit throughout the selection and implementation process.

Also present at the inauguration ceremony were Alhaji Nma Kolo, a member of the Senator’s Advisory Council and Special Adviser on Political Affairs and Strategy to His Excellency, Farmer Governor Umaru Mohammed Bago, along with other members of the Senator’s Advisory Council, Local Government Coordinators, Project Monitoring Committee, Local Liaison Officers, Zonal Officers, and other dignitaries.

Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated committee, the Chairman expressed deep appreciation to Distinguished Senator Mohammed Sani Musa for the opportunity to serve, assuring him of the committee’s collective loyalty, dedication, and commitment to delivering on their mandate.

Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC) Suspends Publication of Successful Political Party Flag Bearers

The Niger State Independent Electoral Commission (NSIEC) has announced the suspension of the scheduled publication of the names of successful political party flag bearers, originally set for Wednesday, 17th April 2025.

This decision is due to the forthcoming public holidays in observance of the Easter celebration.

According to the Chairman of NSIEC, Engr. Mohammed Imam , the list will be published immediately after the Easter break.
