FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO DISSOLVES CABINET, RETAINS SSG, CoS, DCoS, AND OTHER PRINCIPAL OFFICERS

Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has dissolved his cabinet.

The farmer governor announced the decision during the State Executive Council meeting at the Council Chamber, Minna.

He appreciated them for the services they had so far rendered towards the development of the state and wished them the best in their future endeavours.

The farmer governor, however, said he has retained his Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief of Staff, Deputy Chief of Staff, and other principal officers in his office

MTN ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY SERVICE DISRUPTION IN ADAMAWA, BORNO, AND KANO

MTN Nigeria has announced that subscribers in parts of Adamawa, Borno, and Kano States will face temporary service disruption this weekend due to scheduled network maintenance.

In a notice issued on Friday, the company revealed that the exercise will take place on Saturday, August 24, 2025, affecting 101 sites across 15 Local Government Areas (LGAs).

According to MTN, the work involves diverting traffic to a newly installed fiber infrastructure along the AFCOT–Bawo Village route in Adamawa State, aimed at fixing a damaged fiber route and improving service quality.
