NOTICE TO ALL GRADUATING STUDENTS (2024/2025 Academic Session), FUT MINNA.

ACADEMIC GOWN FOR CONVOCATION CEREMONY

This is to inform you that the 34th Convocation Ceremony has been fixed for Sunday, 1st February, 2026 for both Undergraduate and Postgraduates. The Venue is Suleimanu Kumo Convocation Square, Main Campus, Gidan Kwano.

You are to collect the Academic gown for the Convocation from your respective School Secretaries beginning from Monday, 26th January, 2026.

The gown shall be returned to the representative of your respective School at the point of collection of Certificate, beginning from Sunday, 1st February, 2026, after the Convocation ceremony.

Failure to comply with the directive on return of gown at point of collection of Certificate will attract a late submission penalty charge of 2,000.00 per day. Note also that any loss of Academic gown will amount to complete replacement, at the cost of N38,000.00.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF ONLINE HOSTEL BOOKING FOR MEDICAL STUDENTS

This is to inform all registered students in the following departments; Medicine & Surgery, Pharmacy, Nursing Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Human Anatomy and Human Physiology of the Federal University of Technology Minna that, online booking for hostel accommodation is scheduled as follows;

Date: Wednesday 17th December 2025

Time: Booking start at 11.00am

Registered students of the above mentioned departments are to login to their school portal on the University website to book and pay for their accommodation.

All students should please note the following important information:

Only students that have paid 2025/2026 registration fees will be eligible to booked for hostel bed-space.

Booked hostel Bed-spaces will be automatically revoked if payment for the booked Bed-space is not made within 48 hours from the date/time of booking.

Students are advised to complete the necessary steps on the University portal to secure their accommodation.

Students are to print their hostel fee payment receipt (online generated) and take the receipt to the University Bursary unit to confirm the payment.

Students & parents are advised not to pay hostel fees to any staff or student under any disguise.

PLEASE BEWARE OF FRAUDSTERS.

This is to inform all registered students of the Federal University of Technology Minna that, online booking for hostel accommodation is scheduled as follows;

1. Hostel booking by newly admitted students (100 Level and DE)
Date: Thursday 5th December 2025
Time: Booking start at 11.00am

2. hostel booking by all returning students (200-500 Level)
Date: Friday 8th December 2025
Time: Booking start at 11.00am

Students are to login to their school portal on the University website to book and pay for their accommodation.

All students should please note the following important information:
