Teachers’ Recruitment: Osun Govt. Announces
Interview Dates for Shortlisted Applicants

Applicants for the ongoing Teachers’ Recruitment Process in Ọ̀ṣun State are to check their individual recruitment portal or Email for their scheduled Date for the interview exercise.

Also, the following centres have been designated for the interview phase of the exercise in the six (6) zones of the State:

1. IFE ZONE
Oduduwa College, Ile-Ife (for TESCOM Applicants)
Oranmiyan Memorial Grammar School Ile- Ife (for SUBEB Applicants)

2. ILESA ZONE

- Ilesa Grammar School, Ilesa (for TESCOM Applicants)

- St. Margaret’s Girls Grammar School Ilesha (for SUBEB Applicants)

3. OSOGBO ZONE

- Osogbo Grammar School, Osogbo (for TESCOM Applicants)

- Ataoja School of Science, Osogbo (for SUBEB Applicants)

4. IKIRUN ZONE

- Holy Trinity Grammar School, Ikirun (for TESCOM Applicants)

- Akinorun High School, Ikirun (for SUBEB Applicants)

5. IWO ZONE

This development was announced by the State’s Commissioner for Information, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, today in Òṣogbo.

According to him, those who applied for the post of Education Officers and Technical Instructors are to be interviewed at the Osun State Civil Service Commission, Opposite NECO Office, Osogbo.

The interview is scheduled to be held between Mon. 9th to Fri. 13th September, 2024 by 9am daily.

2024 FUMS National Summer School kicked off today
We are thrilled to announce that the 2024 FUMS National Summer School kicked off today, and it's been an incredible start! The enthusiasm and energy at the level of summer school are palpable, and *we're delighted to share that we've already recorded an impressive 247 students on our first day.*

This is just the beginning, as we're still expecting more students to join us in the coming days. Our team is working tirelessly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the available Tutors today,who have shown dedication and commitment to the success of this program. Your expertise and passion for teaching are invaluable to us,we encourage us to do more in the coming days.

We also appreciate the presence of a representative from MPI, who took time to visit us today. Your support means a lot to us.

Our Appreciation also goes to Mr.Jide, 2019/2020 FUMS National Financial secretary, for checking up on us at the summer school. Osun Government warns Ile Ife/Modakeke against violence.

The Osun state government has warned hoodlums tormenting the peace of the Ile Ife and Modakeke people to stop hence forth or be ready to face the unpalatable consequences.

Governor Ademola Adeleke gave the warning during a meeting with community leaders of Ile Ife and Modakeke.

Governor Adeleke who spoke through his deputy prince kola Adewusi expressed concern over killings that erupt in Yekemi, kere,Toro and other villages.

He called on the community leaders and farmers in the two communities not to shield crimes as the present administration will not allow any form of sabotage that will hinder its efforts at ensuring peace cohabitation between Ile ife and Modakeke people.

The governor pledged that the state government will work with relevant stakeholders to ensure that those perpetrating evils are brought to book.

Representatives of the two communities including Baales,religious leaders and farmers appealed to the state government to work on the jurisdiction of the two towns and beef up security at the villages, known with notorious criminal acts.
