From all of us at JOMA’S MEDIA, an emerging entertainment and television brand with a passion for uplifting voices and creating meaningful platforms, we extend our deepest sympathy to Dr. Yinka Ayefele (MON), the entire management, staff, and loyal audience of Fresh FM 105.9 and Blast FM 98.3, following the unfortunate fire incident that occurred on 15th August, 2025.
This tragic event is more than a loss to your organizations—it is a loss to the entire Nigerian entertainment and media landscape. Fresh FM and Blast FM have for years served as beacons of truth, entertainment, hope, and inspiration to millions of listeners across the country and beyond. To wake up to such devastating news is heartbreaking, not only for your immediate community but also for all who have benefitted from your unique voice in broadcasting.
At JOMA’S MEDIA, we recognize the invaluable role you have played in shaping the Nigerian media industry, and we cannot overlook your unwavering dedication to professionalism, creativity, and positive influence. As an upcoming voice in this same space, we stand in solidarity with you during this difficult season. We want to reassure you that you are not alone—your challenges are felt deeply within the entire entertainment community, and your resilience inspires us.
While this fire may seem like a setback, we are convinced that it is but a chapter in a much greater testimony. History shows that institutions built on truth and excellence always rise stronger after trials. Just as gold is refined by fire, we believe Fresh FM and Blast FM will return with greater strength, renewed purpose, and even deeper impact.
We pray for Dr. Yinka Ayefele and all members of your stations—that God grants you wisdom, courage, and comfort in this period. May He surround you with supporters, restore everything that was lost, and multiply your influence even beyond your expectations.
We are strengthened by the words of Scripture: “To bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair” (Isaiah 61:3).
With heartfelt sympathy and solidarity,
Oladele Melvin Mayokun
