Yesterday, I bought an Eggon patterned cap inside the Lafia motor park. It cost me N4,000 and after I paid, I asked the young man if he made it himself. He smiled and said yes. Moments like that always remind me of how hardworking Nigerian youths are. We try our best every single day to make our lives count. Our society makes the journey tougher than it should be, but we keep pushing and we keep praying.
Speaking of pushing and praying, my team and I have been preparing for coming up on November 30th, a Sunday evening in Akwanga, Nasarawa State. I want to share a few things with you about the event.
First, we will start on time and end on time. Please come early.
Second, it is a family friendly event. You can come with your children, nephews and nieces. All children between ages 6 and 15 will enter for free. Encourage them to come and experience beautiful music. Since we will be doing live audio recording, we advise that children attending should be able to stay quiet for most of the event.
Third, I will be singing many Eggon songs. If you do not speak or understand Eggon, do not worry. We will give you a lyrics translation booklet so you can follow the message and still enjoy the beauty of each melody.
Fourth, I will be giving out free music cards. I will explain this idea in a different post soon.
Fifth, tickets may not be sold at the venue so please try to reserve your seat early.
At the moment, we have barely fifteen seats left. If you can, kindly reserve yours as soon as possible. I cannot wait to share my songs with you. I promise you will not regret coming.
It will truly be an evening to remember.
