Mother's good evening all please you all should join me and thank this Great GOD, this pictures here are a pot of ogbono soup and vegetable soup, freshly made this evening by 6/7 pm by me my baby of 1/6 months was feeling sleepy so I decided to go and put her to sleep leaving my daughter of 4years+ alone in the sitting room, though I asked her to inside the room and sleep but she said no that she was not feeling sleepy, only for me to come out 10 minutes later into the sitting room I found her dropping this insecticide on the couch and she was scared I asked her what was she doing with it she was scared to speak when I picked it up hmmm the amount of insecticide dripping from it it was as like a running tap , I started looking for the exact spot she sprayed it in the sitting room I couldn't find it only for me to get to the kitchen ever while was smelling of this insecticide I looked carefully and I noticed that she sprayed half of this inside my ogbono soup ontop of the gas, insecticide I bought 2days ago I only used it this morning while we were on our way out to school, like this my 2 pot of soup that I prepared that will last from today till next weekend is gone, I poured it away , mother's if I tell tell how much this soups cost me, my husband is not around he suppose to come back tomorrow that was why I decided to cook this soup today, , I didn't even touch her , right now my heart is heavy because I don't even have any other money budgeted for another food, in all I thank God almighty for not allowing Me and my family to be victims of circumstances. The Rivers State Police Command has arrested a 46-year-old married man, Abi Baragon , for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend, Orineme Ayanate , multiple times after she turned down his marriage proposal.

In a statement released on Thursday, October 17, the command’s spokesperson, SP Grace Iringe-Koko ,confirmedthat operatives from the Human Rights Department at the State Headquarters, Moscow Road, Port Harcourt, acted swiftly after receiving the viral video. Using intelligence-led policing and technical support, the suspect was apprehended on October 13, 2025 .

“It wasallegedthat the assault stemmed from the victim’s rejection of the suspect’s marriage proposal after discovering he was already married with four children—anaccusationthe suspect denied. During interrogation, he voluntarily confessed to attacking her with bottles and stabbing her multiple times,” the statement read.

SP Iringe-Koko also noted that the Commissioner of Police, CP Olugbenga A. Adepoju , commended the officers involved for their swift action and thanked members of the public for providing credible information that led to the suspect’s arrest.

A Nigerian man who reportedly married a second wife in hopes of having a male child has found himself in an unexpected situation after his new wife gave birth to twin girls.

According to the post, the man had married a second wife after his first wife gave birth to six daughters, believing a new marriage would finally bring him the son he desperately wanted.

However, fate had other plans. His new wife recently delivered twin baby girls, leaving the man disappointed once again.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has condemned the act of jungle justice by a mob that assaulted a young lady accused of stealing a two-year-old child in Giri-Kpasere in the Gwagwalada Area Council.

The woman, whose identity is yet to be ascertained, was b£aten and partially str!pped by a mob for allegedly attempting to steal the child.

According to him, the lady, who was wearing a shirt and jeans trousers, was caught by the roadside with a crying child, waiting to board a vehicle.

Habila added that some passersby who identified the child became suspicious.

He explained that one of the passersby suddenly stopped after discovering the child was crying. The man called the child’s name, and the child immediately responded.

Habila said that, at that moment, the lady immediately placed the child on her back and covered him with a wrapper/cloth, a situation which prompted the man to begin questioning the lady about how she came to have the child.

"So, as the man who identified the child now called the child’s name and he answered, the child started crying, which prompted the man to suspect that the lady must have stolen the child, and she was arrested on the spot,” he said.

He said after the man raised an alarm, the attention of some youth around the area was attracted. They immediately started b3ating the suspect and almost str!pped her completely n@ked.

Habila said that some residents who rushed to the scene also identified the child and immediately alerted the child’s mother, who later arrived at the scene.

According to him, the child was immediately retrieved from the lady, after which the mob continued to beat her.

He said the lady was later handed over to the police in the area.

She, however, disclosed that the command has commenced a discreet investigation into the alleged child theft and will ensure that justice is served in accordance with the law.

A Customs officer, identified as Assistant Superintendent of Customs (ASC) Lawal Tukur, has been found dead in a hotel room in Katsina metropolis.

Zagazola report that the incident occurred on Oct. 15 at Murjani Hotel, Katsina, where the deceased had lodged. According to reports, hotel staff discovered the officer lying lifeless in his room at about 8:30 a.m. and immediately raised the alarm.

Sources at the hotel said some empty sachets of suspected substances were found in the waste basket of the room. Three women, identified as Khadija Ali, 34, of Dutsin Amare Quarters, Katsina; Aisha Lawal, 30, of Ingawa Local Government Area; and Hafsat Yusuf, 22, of Brigade Quarters, Kano, were reportedly in the hotel at the time of the incident.

It was gathered that Khadija and Aisha spent the night with the deceased, while Hafsat visited them later and also lodged in the same hotel.

The body of the officer was taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Katsina, where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor and deposited at the mortuary for autopsy.

The Nigeria Customs Service has been informed of the development, while further findings are awaited to determine the cause of death.

18-year-old girl reportedly lost her life while trying to end a pregnancy through an unsafe abortion.

According to reports, the young girl, whose name has not been revealed, was rushed to a nearby hospital after experiencing severe bleeding during the procedure. Unfortunately, she could not survive despite efforts by doctors to save her life.

Eyewitnesses said she had visited a local clinic operated by an unlicensed nurse. Sources revealed that she chose the unsafe route because she was afraid of shame and rejection from her family.

A Nigerian mother has taken to social media to share a heart-stopping testimony after her 8-month-old baby narrowly escaped death when a stray bullet hit him during a sudden security chase in their neighbourhood.

According to her emotional account, the young mother was in the kitchen cooking for her family when chaos suddenly broke out outside . Law enforcement officers were reportedly chasing some suspected criminals , and gunshots rang through the area.

“My baby was happily playing on his mat while I cooked,” she wrote. “Then I heard loud sounds outside. When I rushed back to check on him, he was crying so loudly… I didn’t understand what had happened until I looked closely — a stray bullet had hit him!” 😭

In sheer panic, she examined her baby’s body, only to discover that the bullet had barely grazed his rib area , leaving just a small scratch instead of a fatal wound.

While the incident left the mother deeply shaken, she expressed only gratitude — not anger. “I’m speechless,” she added. “It has finally reached my turn to experience this, but God came through for me. My baby is alive!” 🙏

A miraculous incident has happened involving a man who was pronounced dead and being transported to his funeral ground.

The Man suffered a heart attack and have been in the hospital for days receiving medical attention.

The Doctor however declared him de@d after checking up on him one early morning.

He was then transported in an ambulance heading to his family home for funeral rites and burial.

The car accidentally hit a speed bump on its way and that was the moment everything changed.

Upon hitting the speed bump, many realized the man, who was reported dead had his hands moving.

He was quickly rushed back to the hospital and given the Neccesery medical attention, he woke up minutes later.
