PART 7: THE REVELATION
A deep voice echoed through the forest.
“She belongs to us.”
A tall, shadowy figure emerged from the darkness.
Not human.
Not spirit.
Something older.
“She was given at birth,” it said. “A life for a life.”
Chinedu shook his head. “No! She is mine!”
The entity laughed.
“No… she was never yours.”

PART 6: NOT THE SAME BRIDE

Her voice was calm… unnatural.
“You should not have come.”
Chinedu stepped closer. “Let’s go home. Everyone is waiting.”
Amaka smiled faintly.
“I have no home there anymore.”
The wind howled.
Shadows moved behind her.
“You cannot take what was promised long ago."

PART 5: THE GROOM’S SEARCH
Chinedu refused to accept it.
“I will find her,” he said.
With a lantern in hand, he entered the forest that night.
The deeper he went, the colder it became.
Then he saw it.
A figure in white.
Amaka.
Standing still… beneath a giant tree.
“Amaka!” he called.
She slowly turned.
But her eyes…
They were not hers.

PART 3: THE DISAPPEARANCE

Minutes passed.

Then more.

The guests grew restless.

“Where is the bride?”

Her friends rushed to her room—empty.

Her parents searched the compound—nothing.

Only her footprints… leading away.

Into the forest.

And then…

They stopped.

As if she had simply vanished into thin air.

PART 2: THE STRANGE CALL

Just moments before she was to walk down the aisle,

Amaka asked for a moment alone.

“I’ll be back,” she said softly.

She stepped outside, her wedding dress brushing the ground.

Then she heard it again.

A voice.

Faint… distant…

“Amaka…”

She turned.

No one was there.

But her feet began to move on their own… toward the forest

behind her father’s compound.

🎬 TITLE: THE BRIDE WHO VANISHED

PART 1: THE PERFECT DAY

Amaka was the pride of Umudike village. Beautiful, kind, and admired by all, her wedding day was the most
anticipated event of the year.

The entire village gathered. Drums echoed. Women danced. Her groom, Chinedu, stood proudly, smiling as he waited for his bride.

Amaka was inside, being dressed in a radiant white gown.

Her friends laughed, teasing her about married life.

But something felt… off.
As the final veil was placed on her head, Amaka suddenly grew quiet.

“I feel like someone is calling me,” she whispered.

Her friends laughed it off.

But Amaka wasn’t joking.

PART 9: THE SACRIFICE
With tears in her eyes, Amara walked back into the river.
The water welcomed her.
She kissed her baby.
“I love you… even if I lose you.”
She placed the child into the clay pot.
The river swallowed both the pot… and the child.
Everything went silent.

The final PART : THE LEGEND

The village returned to normal.
But Amara was never seen again.
Years later, villagers say:
At night, a woman with a tail appears in the river
A baby’s laughter echoes through the water
And sometimes…
A clay pot floats to the surface.
Waiting…
For the next mother.

PART 8: THE TRUTH
Nne Mmiri revealed the truth:
“This child is a bridge between worlds.
If it stays, the spirit world will open… and no human will be safe.”
Amara was torn.
Save her child… or save the village.
The baby looked at her and smiled again.

PART 7: THE VILLAGE ATTACK
The villagers, filled with fear, came with fire and weapons.
“Bring out the child!” they shouted.
Amara stood in front of her hut.
“I will never give my child to you!”
Suddenly, the baby raised its tiny hand…
And the fire went out instantly.
The villagers froze.

PART 6: THE RETURN OF THE SPIRIT

Nne Mmiri appeared again from the river.

“I warned you,” she said.

“This child belongs to the spirit world. Keeping it will

destroy your village.”
Amara cried, holding her baby tightly.
“I don’t care. This is my child!”
The river grew violent.
