RIP SOULEYMANA CISEE

Souleymane Cissé is a celebrated Malian film director, writer, and producer. His work often explores themes of African culture, identity, and social issues, offering a unique perspective on the continent's experiences.

- "Finye" (1982)
- "Yeelen" (1987), which won the Jury Prize at the 1987 Cannes Film Festival.

My name is Chike Igwebuike and I am a filmmaker and storyteller, and The Lead Creative at WhiteChalk Media.

I am an Alumni of the MultiChoice Talent Factory, School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University, New York Film Academy, and Henley Business School

In April this Year, I graduated from film school, in June, I registered my film production company, WhiteChalk Media.

While in Film school, I made a resolve to tell stories that are people oriented, for an audience that are hungry for stories with African Narratives.

Africa sits on a plate of of stories, and film as a medium of storytelling is key to igniting an African Narrative.

Whitechalk Media as a film production company is resolved to tell stories that question narrative, and promote African culture and storytelling. Our only goal is to be a voice where it matters, using art as a tool for constructive revolution, entertainment, and education.

We offer our services to brands, NGO's, and Governmental organisations, to document, make PSA's and brand ads.
