To remove a violation on Facebook, you'll need to understand why the content was flagged. Facebook uses technology and review teams to enforce its *Community Standards*. If your content was removed, you'll receive a notification with details
If You Reported Content
If you reported content that wasn't removed, you can:
1. Go to your *Support Inbox*.
2. Tap *Reports About Others*.
3. Open the message about the decision on the content you reported.
4. Tap *See Options* and then *Request another review* if available ยน.

If Your Content Was Removed
If your content was removed due to a violation, you can:
1. Check your *Support Inbox* for details.
2. If eligible, submit an appeal using the *Oversight Board Reference Number*.
Appealing a Decision
To appeal, follow these steps:
For Android:
1. Tap *Menu* in the top right of Facebook.
2. Scroll down and tap *Help & Support*, then tap *Support Inbox*.
3. Open the update about our decision.
4. If eligible, follow on-screen instructions to appeal using your *Oversight Board Reference Number*
For iPhone:
1. Tap *Menu* in the bottom right of Facebook.
2. Scroll down and tap *Help & Support*, then tap *Support Inbox*.
3. Open the update about our decision.
