❤LEADERSHIP BEYOND POLITICAL LABELS
~Judging leadership by records and not deception
Good representation and performance should not be defined by political parties alone, but by the individual seeking public office. When making political decisions about whom to support, the masses should consider a few important factors, such as an individual's character and personal values, productivity outside politics through personal enterprise, track record within their immediate community, leadership capacity, and long-standing connection with the grassroots. It is also important to examine the history of an individual's authenticity, accessibility, and ability to relate with the people.
Recent observations on leadership and public service suggest that individuals with proven personal capacity and independent achievements often demonstrate stronger performance in public office. It has therefore become important to focus on those whose personal antecedents speak for them, rather than relying solely on political party affiliation.
Like many other elective offices, Nnewi North, Nnewi South, and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency have experienced periods of neglect and underperformance. This has led many people to reflect on past choices and the kind of representation they hope to see in the future, especially in light of the current backwardness.
Now I ask: Who are your candidates?
What qualities informed your support for them?
For me, Omenyili Umunnaya is the man to watch. Chief Vin Onyeka's name continues to attract attention. Ogu Nnewi is a man of the people.
