🌈 I finally asked the question I'd been avoiding for months.

My stomach dropped when I got the answer. But you know what? I could finally breathe again.

It's better to know and be disappointed than to never know and always wonder.

We avoid the truth because we think not knowing protects us. If we don't ask, don't look, don't confirm our suspicions, then maybe—just maybe—everything's fine.

But here's what I've learned: not knowing doesn't protect you. It exhausts you.

It sits in the back of your mind at 2 AM. It makes you second-guess everything. It keeps you stuck in this waiting room between hope and fear, and you can't move forward because you don't know which direction to go.

I used to think wondering was hope. That if I didn't know for sure, I could keep believing things might be different.

But wondering isn't hope. It's just fear we've gotten comfortable with.

When you choose to know the truth—even when it hurts—you get clarity. And clarity is freedom.

Yes, the truth might disappoint you. It might break your heart. But at least it's real. At least you can work with it. You can grieve, heal, and eventually move on.

The wondering? That just sits there forever, quietly draining you.

Here's what knowing gives you: permission to stop pretending. Permission to feel what you actually feel instead of managing your hope so carefully. Permission to close one door so another can open.

🎀 The truth might hurt, but uncertainty exhausts.

I'm not saying it's easy to choose knowing. It takes real courage to ask the hard question when you're scared of the answer.

But you're stronger than the uncertainty you've been carrying. And you deserve the peace that comes from finally knowing.

So my humble readers, courage isn't about not being afraid. It's about trusting yourself enough to seek the truth anyway—because living with the weight of wondering is its own kind of pain. But knowing gives you a place to start healing from.

It's worth it 🤍

🌈 What if the person you're meant to find doesn't look like what you expected?

While you're busy looking for the perfect person, you'll probably miss the imperfect person who could make you perfectly happy.

I used to have this mental checklist. They had to be this way, do that thing, fit into these exact boxes I'd created in my mind. And every time someone didn't tick every box, I'd move on, convinced I was just being "selective."

But here's what I've learned: perfectionism in love isn't protection—it's often fear dressed up as standards.

The people who've brought the most joy into my life? They weren't perfect. They were real. They showed up with their quirks, their growth edges, their beautiful mess of humanity. And somehow, that realness created something more fulfilling than any checklist ever could.

I'm not saying to abandon your values or settle for less than you deserve. Your non-negotiables matter. But maybe some of those "must-haves" are actually "nice-to-haves" in disguise.

Sometimes the person who challenges us to grow, who loves us through our own imperfections, who shows up consistently even when it's not Instagram-perfect—that's the one worth holding onto.

Maybe they don't look like what you expected because you were looking for a fantasy, not a person.

The truth is, real love rarely matches our Pinterest boards or our perfectly curated lists. It shows up messy, surprising, and often in ways we didn't plan for.

But when you find someone who sees you—really sees you—with all your own imperfections, and loves you anyway? That's when you realize the image in your head was never the point.

So my dear, the person you're meant to find might not match your expectations, but they'll exceed them in ways you never knew mattered.

Stay open 🤍

You know what's rare?

Someone who gets you without a 10-minute explanation.

Not just your words—but your silence.
Not just your smile—but the heaviness behind it.

Most people listen to respond. They're waiting for their turn to speak.

But once in a while, you meet someone who listens to understand.
Someone who reads your heart without you having to explain every feeling or justify every boundary.

That kind of understanding doesn't demand.
It doesn't drain.
It just sees you.

And in that seeing?
There's rest. Relief. A quiet calm you didn't know you were missing.

Hold onto those people. They're rare—and they're everything.

May we find people who listen beyond words
and may we become that kind of person too. 🤍

Avoid unnecessary pressure this year.

1. Don’t borrow to impress people who won’t help you repay.

2. Don’t rush marriage because age mates are posting anniversaries — pressure is not a calling.

3. Don’t compete with social media — most of it is highlight, not reality.

4. Don’t carry responsibilities meant for five people alone — ask for help when needed.

5. Don’t force investments you don’t understand because someone said “it’s paying.”

6. Don’t ignore your mental health just to prove strength — burnout is expensive.

Add yours.

HERE WE ARE!

The journey wasn’t easy, but here we are.
We saw victories, we endured losses—yet here we are.
It could have been worse, but by grace, here we are.

I warmly welcome you to 2026.
As this new journey begins, release the past and step boldly into the future. Keep your hopes alive and your eyes fixed on your God-given vision. This time, make no room for fear or laziness. In all you do, pursue excellence without belittling the efforts of others.
You are a success.

The harvest is now—that is the word for this season. No more delays. Step into the labour of those who have gone before you. Wear favour like a garment. Accomplish great exploits with ease. Above all, never forget the Lord.

Happy New Year, great one 🥳
