A design project for a client ⚡
When I started designing the brand identity for EDU METAL Welding & Metal Fabrication, my focus was to create something bold, modern, and timeless, a look that would immediately communicate strength, reliability, and precision.
The journey began with the primary logo, a clean “EM” mark built from sharp edges and straight lines. This was intentional because in metal work, precision and strength are everything, so the logo needed to mirror that same character. Alongside it, I developed the secondary logo, a metallic 3D version with reflective steel textures. This one is more industrial and premium in appearance, perfect for use on signage or anywhere the brand needs to feel solid and high-end.
The logos were then applied across different brand materials. On the business card, the design is bold yet professional, using strong blocks of black, white, and olive green to make the contact details stand out at a glance. The banner design carries that same energy but on a larger scale, highlighting the company’s services with clear icons and bold typography.
For apparel, I placed the logo on a white polo t-shirt and a turquoise polo, keeping the design simple and centered. This makes the staff instantly recognizable while maintaining a neat, corporate look. The cap design also carries the logo in a straightforward way, reinforcing the brand identity in a casual, everyday style.
To extend the brand presence outdoors, I created two versions of a billboard design. The first is a 3D mock-up of how the banner would look in a real environment, while the second shows the billboard standing against the sky. Both emphasize visibility, with the large logo, bold colors, and strong images making sure passersby notice EDU METAL instantly. For the glass signage, I went with a sleek and modern approach, letting the logo sit cleanly on a transparent surface a representation of professionalism when displayed at the company’s office or workshop entrance.
The color palette ties everything together. Olive green was chosen as the primary color because it represents growth, reliability, and balance, while also giving a unique identity that sets the brand apart from the usual reds and blues often seen in industrial brands. Black plays the role of adding strength, authority, and professionalism, while white works as the secondary color, bringing clarity, simplicity, and balance into the designs. Together, these colors create a brand look that feels strong yet approachable.
From the logos to the business card, t-shirts, cap, banners, and billboards, every piece was crafted to make EDU METAL stand out as a trusted and modern brand in metal fabrication. This identity system doesn’t just look good it communicates exactly what the company is about: strength, precision, and professionalism.
