UGBAIKE Youth leaders g*y involved in investigating the death of the young boy who was buried alive in inyi Enugu ezike for quick wealth.
Today Ugbaike Youths had a meeting to discuss about the careless death of one of us
During the meeting, we visited the family of the deceased to get the side of the story directly from his father Uwakwe Eze
Here is Key points of what he narrated
1. He said he was on his own in his house when his son came back and ask him to follow him to Inyi for something.
2. He got to Inyi and it happened that it was at the house of a native doctor and his son already bought all the materials for his work kept at the man house
3. They offered him food and drink and he was drinking when native doctor asked him to give them space that they want to start work, he also said he saw a grave and didn’t know that it is for his son will be buried inside.
4. He went far as the dative doctor demanded and the native doctor assembled all his workers to start the work including dismissing all his visitors that he has a very serious important work.
5. Cutting the long story short, his son entered the casket and he was put in the grave and they covered it.
6. After 15mins, he became worried and demanded that they exhume him immediately but native doctor insisted that this is why he doesn’t want him to stay close where he is working
7. At the end, there was 2 local gun shot by the native doctor and he then asked his workers to open the grave
8. They opened the casket and his son was sweating profusely, weak and not even responsive
9. The native doctor started all his incantations and abracadabra but all to no avail, they had to rush him to Shanahan hospital Ogrute where the doctor confirmed him dead around midnight.
10. They went to deposit his body in the morgue and returned to native doctor house where they offered him food and 4bottles of drink but he refused to drink, they asked him to stay till day break but he refused and started coming home
