What does healing mean?
It's not about distancing yourself and moving on. It's more than that.
It's about introspection.
It's about revisiting the event or circumstance with hindsight.
Looking at it with eyes of understanding, about what happened,why it happened , ways to change it,cope with it or avoid it from reoccurring .
It's getting personal closure and accepting whatever happened and not living in denial,angêr,hürt, bîtterness,grüdges or unforgivenss.
My litmus test for healing is simple;
Anytime I remember the event without feeling ãngry and påin,then I know that I am healing.
Regaining your peace is a sign of healing.
