The University of Nigeria hereby informs candidates who made UNN their first-choice institution and scored 160 and above that the online registration for the 2025/2026 screening exercise scheduled to end by Friday August 15, 2025 has been extended to the midnight of Sunday, September 07, 2025.

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2025/2026 admission.

Only candidates who made UNN their first choice and scored 160 and above in the 2025 UTME are eligible to apply. Direct Entry candidates must have their results verified by NIPEDS.

Registration runs from Monday, July 14 to Friday, August 15, 2025 via the UNN portal (unn.edu.ng).

Candidates below 16 years or awaiting Nov/Dec 2025 results are not eligible.

2024/2025 UNN Supplementary Admission Update‼️‼️‼️

The names of successful candidates for the 2024/2025 supplementary admission are currently being uploaded to the JAMB portal. (This doesn't concern shopping in any case...it's the continuation of First list...those who their CAPS change now will be admitted to their original course of choice.)

Applicants are advised to monitor their CAPS closely for updates on their admission status.

Only a few departments have been processed, while more will be added soon.
Direct Entry admissions are also expected to begin tomorrow or the day after.

ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️ ‼️ ‼️

If you did not register for the screening but wish to do so, please note that the school's screening portal is now active, allowing you to complete your registration.

Additionally, candidates who were unable to upload their O’Level results during the screening registration but submitted a letter to the school registrar regarding this issue and got an approval can now proceed to upload their results on the UNN portal.

However, those who registered but neither uploaded their results nor wrote a letter to the registrar must first submit a letter to the registrar and obtain approval before they can upload their results.

You are advised to complete any of these processes as soon as possible if you need to, as no one knows when the portal will be permanently closed.
