The Prudent Women Food Bank is an innovative and economical initiative. Every year, food items are purchased early in September and shared in December, ensuring that families have enough to celebrate the festive season joyfully and with dignity. This proactive approach helps us beat inflation and promotes unity, generosity, and food security within our communities.
Food is essential and unavoidable—it is a lifeline. The unavailability of food leads to distractions and reinforces the feeling of poverty and scarcity. That is why, as a forward-thinking and insightful women's organization, we have deliberately diversified our food bank—not just to support needy women and children in society but also to create an opportunity for us to save for the future, when food prices become even more expensive.

deliberate in our actions, thoughtful in our planning, and committed to securing a better tomorrow for every woman, child, and family.
We take intentional steps to address the future needs of our communities. By planning ahead, saving wisely, and working together in unity, we ensure that no woman or child is left behind during difficult times. Our food bank is not just about giving today, but about strategically preparing for tomorrow, reducing food insecurity, and promoting dignity through access to essential resources.
Our food bank is most credible and honest—built on trust, transparency, and accountability. We do not just distribute food; we uphold the highest standards of stewardship, ensuring that every contribution is used wisely and reaches the right hands.
Together, we are building a stronger, more resilient community—one bag of rice, one meal, one act of kindness at a time.
2025 FOOD BANK PLAN
This year 2025, we encourage every member to start saving now to ensure they have enough food for the festive season in December 2025.
Food sharing will take place in the first or second week of December 2025.
PAYMENT PLAN
Payments can be made from January to December, with complete flexibility:
Catch up on any missed months
Pay daily, weekly, monthly, in instalments, or in full at any time
FOOD ITEMS PACKAGE – N200,000 per person
Each participant will receive:
1. 25kg of Quality Nigerian Rice
2. 5 litres of Groundnut Oil
3. 5 litres of Red Palm Oil
4. 1 carton of Indomie Noodles
5. 1 carton of Spaghetti
6. 5 packs of Knorr Maggi Cubes
7. 10kg of Semovita
8. 1 pack (400g) of Milo
9. 1 tin (400g) of Milk
10. 1 pack of Cornflakes
11. 1 Pack of Golden Morn
12. 1 big pack of Sugar
13. 1 pack of Soft Drinks
COW CONTRIBUTION
Total Price Per Cow: N600,000
Members may participate as follows:
Option 1: Four persons per cow = N150,000 per person
Option 2: Six persons per cow = N100,000 per person
Members can further split their shares by partnering with others
