At times we parents fail in so many ways.

Sometimes we do try our possible best to see that we raise our children to be the best, morally okay and academically stable.

The first thing I noticed about the little girl i brought in to live with me is that she doesn't greet.

So I counted it as one among the thing I have to correct before leaving my house.

I served her food for two days and noticed that whenever she's done eating she will just keep her plate and come back to her base where she sits to watch her cartoon.

The first time I concluded maybe it skipped her mind ,the second time I said let me see if she will get to notice what she's not doing right and correct herself.

The third time I had to call her and question her, I asked her if we ( my husband and I) are too small to be thanked after she's done eating .

She told me no, so I told her from now on she will be the one providing and cooking the food in the house while we eat and thank her as the one providing the food.

Definitely both of knows its not possible, but I couldn't find anything else to say to her atleast to make her correct herself cause I am not the type of person to correct a child through cane unless I see that you are so stubborn to be corrected by just my words,and secondly I no too get too much strength.

Later that day in the afternoon, I served her lunch ,went to my room and observed her ,to see how far we have gone.

And guess what she picked up so fast ,after the lunch she did the needful and went back to her base .

So you see not everything must be corrected through beating or flogging.

At times you just correct them through words only and watch to see if it really sinked into their heads.

I decided to bring in a house help into my home.
We traveled back to base today and she was just 9years old .

I know people will say lots of things but convert it to the advice you are supposed to give yourself.

Looking at this photo made me went back to time when I was taken as a maid am same age ,it wasn't really an easy journey and it wasn't a bad one too.

Because in this life that we are ,we learn lessons through so many things that we have come across, so many obstacles ,so many blessings too.

To every parents going planning to give their child to someone, one thing I will advice you to make as your everyday prayer point is for your child to live with honest kids,like let the children to your child's madam be one that is truthful no matter what.

Because it pain when you are being maltreated ,but it pain pass when you are been punished because of an offense you didn't commit.

Probably someone lied on your head and you are been punished while she takes the glory of being a Saint.

Another thing you should always pray for is this " God no matter how wicked that woman is let her never starve your child ,like deny her of food no matter what the offense might be.

Because you can imagine working so hard ,working with all might with an empty stomach how painful it it more to talk of hearing that your own child is going through same suffering just because of someone's wicked heart

Then the least but not the last ,God abeg ,let your child never been stopped from going to school because she didn't finish up with the house duties assigned to her .

No matter the offense the child has committed, never you deprive her from pursuing her dream . Because it is pure wickedness and the precautions you will always meet one day.
