The Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Area, Hon. Prince Anthony Nyong, has commended the Ward Personal Assistant to the Governor representing Eastern Nsit Ward 3, Mr. Monday Tommy, for his sustained support towards education following the donation of new school uniforms to all the pupils of Methodist Primary School, Otu-Abiyan.

The donation, which took place on Monday, 25th May 2026, forms part of Mr. Monday Tommy’s continued support for education in the area, following his previous contributions of school sandals, customized exercise books, school bags and other writing materials to the school.

Speaking during the event, the Chairman stated that he would always support government appointees and private individuals who demonstrate genuine concern for the welfare of the people. He thanked the Governor for appointing Ward Personal Assistants across the state, noting that it is practically impossible for the Governor to be physically present in every ward at all times.

Hon. Nyong further described the donation as an intervention aimed at supporting parents, pupils and the school management towards creating a conducive learning environment. He added that Mr. Monday Tommy has set the pace for others to emulate in contributing their quota to the growth of education in the local government area.

Also speaking, the former Vice Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Area, Hon. MC Akpan, appreciated the Ward PA for the kind gesture and prayed for greater accomplishments in his service to the people.

The uniforms were officially received by the Headmaster of the school, Mr. Michael Akpan, on behalf of the pupils and staff.
