Honourable Moshood Adeleke, founder of the Honourable Moshood Adeleke (HMA) initiative, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Hon. Ezekiel Olamilekan Oyewemi’s Oko Arugbo Foundation Restores Hope to a Despairing Father

In a heartwarming act of compassion, Hon. Ezekiel Olamilekan Oyewemi, through his Oko Arugbo Foundation, has once again demonstrated his commitment to uplifting lives and restoring hope to the hopeless.

Today, a man who had lost all hope of survival due to his deteriorating health and financial struggles was given a new lease on life. The man, unable to work due to his condition, confided in Hon. Oyewemi about the pain of being unable to provide for his family. Following a thorough investigation into his situation, Hon. Oyewemi made a life-changing decision.

To alleviate the man’s immediate challenges, Hon. Oyewemi pledged to pay him a monthly stipend of ₦70,000—equivalent to the minimum wage—for the next six months. Additionally, he committed to covering the school fees of two of the man’s children: one currently in secondary school and the other in a tertiary institution, for the next two years. These interventions are aimed at giving the man and his family some stability as he works towards recovery and a better future.

Hon. Oyewemi also promised to establish the man in a business, ensuring long-term financial independence.

Overwhelmed with gratitude, the man expressed his disbelief and joy. “I had lost all hope. I never imagined that someone like Hon. Oyewemi, who genuinely cares, still exists. People like him are rare to find,” he said, wiping away tears of gratitude.
