CHRISZ L REPORT | FIELD SUMMARY 🎬✨ VIRDIS Initiative is a psychosocial refugee-led organization using the power of entertainment to heal, inspire, and restore hope.
Through music, films, and creative storytelling, VIRDIS gives refugees and displaced persons a reason to smile again—turning pain into purpose and talent into possibility. Beyond entertainment, we train PoCs and other young creatives in acting, filmmaking, graphic design, video editing, photography, and camera operation, equipping them with real skills for the media industry(CHRISZ STUDIOS).
Over the past 5+ years, VIRDIS Initiative has trained young talents, given them platforms to shine. From short films to impactful video content, our productions continue to amplify refugee voices and stories that matter.
We are proud of our continued collaboration with UNHCR, GEESI Development and Humanitarian Initiative, and other Refugee led Organisation's like sustainer, etc, and today we are excited to be collaborating with UNHCR and Caritas on a short educational skit aimed at encouraging education through creativity.
As refugees we have been trained and given capacity to build for self sustainability by the Unhcr and do not intern to fail them and fail ourselves.
