I had to email the last writer back and ask if she has attempted to call people they respect to talk it out, their marriage sponsors (as she’s catholic), or see a marriage therapist.

She says she was willing in the past, but he wasn’t, and as of now, she’s no longer willing. See me, who went looking for stories about bedroom happiness. It’s been a long soul session speaking with her.

Do you need to ask God to start sending us a fresh batch of kindness from heaven into our marriages?

👏👏👏👏This is so insightful & I learnt a few intentional parenting hacks, especially the last point about being given random topics to discuss once a week. I will adopt it at home with my kids.

🥲I got this mail and immediately wanted to share it with all of you so you can help this fab dad who has a dilemma.

Sending sweet hugs to our baby who has just gotten her first period. First periods are hard, and even with a mom, you’ll be confused.

So please, daddy, even a mom will be unsure because aside from this, we need to talk about s*x education as well and the more possibilities of what a period comes with.

Please, fab mums, what tips can we share with a dad who is trying to do this right, and what should he tell his other twin daughter? He’s reading the comments.

It rained heavily today in Lagos, and my mind wandered to the victims of these senseless acts of terror; the children, their teachers, and I wondered how they are faring.

It's unthinkable. While we talk about the Oyo kidnapping, let's not forget the 42 kids who were also abducted in Borno.

😁Were you shocked at the topic? I know we talk about so many things regarding omugwo, but I want to dig into bathing today!

Omugwo is quite a fantastic experience and varies from culture to culture.

In some cultures, the mother-in-law comes for it; in others, the mother comes for it; and in others, the woman goes to her parents’ house.

It is also a way to relieve the new mum by having an older woman take off some of the chore load, take care of her, and help her recuperate.

We had five women share their experiences of what it was like when their mom or mother figure came for the omugwo. In some stories, it was awkward; in others, delightful.
