If you think it’s cheap to be a woman in Nigeria in these times, you’re absolutely in for a surprise. You better swipe so you can see what women are spending!

Where are the men that said they want to know how much women spend. Or the women who have not been tracking how much they spend?

Can you see this? We had so much fun compiling these and we wanted you to tell us if you’re a woman in Lagos.

‘How much do you spend on your beauty needs in a month in this city?’ Do you even track it?

A full house does not always mean a supported mother. Please check on the mum, not only the baby.

And mums, if you don’t feel like yourself, tell someone you trust. You don’t have to suffer silently to prove you love your child. ❤️

Please check on a new mum today.

So tell us, have you ever had an embarrassing bedroom moment that you don’t mind sharing? We’d love to hear your story, and you might make someone else laugh and feel a little less alone 😄.

Because deciding what everybody will eat every day is a full-time job nobody warned mums about! 😂

Here’s a simple two-week Nigerian family meal timetable covering breakfast, lunch and light dinner because we’re trying to eat well without asking, “What will I cook today?” every morning.

Screenshot it, save it and adjust it to suit your family.

Which meal are you adding or removing from this timetable? And please share this with another mum who needs one less thing to think about. ❤️

If you didn’t attend the BIC Nigeria
BIC Back-to-School Experience Centre, you missed ooo! 😂

But at least this video gives you a sneak peek into all the fun we had with the kids, and trust me, it was so worth it!

There were games, colouring, face painting, climbing activities, music, dancing, treats and plenty of picture-perfect moments.

The children had such a good time and, as you can see, the adults were not left out either! 😁

Keep an eye on , so you’ll be among the first to know when the next family event comes up. You don’t want to hear the gist again o!

If you attended, what did your child enjoy the most? And if you missed it, tag the parent you’re bringing along next time. 👇🏽

I recently saw a celebrity post photos of herself after having a baby, and the comments quickly turned into comparisons.

People were measuring her “snapback” against that of the average Nigerian woman, as if every new mum has the same support, and resources.

One thing I will keep saying over and over is this: accept help. Carrying everything on your head doesn’t make you a better mother. Ask for support, receive it when it’s offered, and don’t be afraid to demand it when you need it.

I know what those postpartum trenches look like, and I genuinely believe that no woman should have to go through them alone. For the mums here, what helped your recovery after childbirth?

Was there anything your family, spouse, or community did that made those first few weeks easier? Please share!
