PICTURE STORY: Ukwa And Kalu Partners For Ohafia’s Progress And Development

Chief (Dr) Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa, the Senior Legislative Aide to the President of the Nigerian Senate, paid a visit to Chief Barr Joseph E. Kalu at his London villa country home in Isiugwu, Ohafia. The private meeting centered on driving more development in Ohafia through strategic partnerships.

The two influential sons of Ohafia, renowned for their philanthropy and excellence in their fields, explored ways to leverage their networks and resources to uplift humanity through youth empowerment and women's development and bring more basic amenities and infrastructures in Ohafia community, adding that growth happens when people invest at home.

Chief Joe Kalu lauded Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa's impactful strides in Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs. He also in the same vein thanked him for honouring his wedding invitation in Port Harcourt, pledging his unalloyed support and partnership.

Chief Ikenna Ukwa expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, promising continued collaboration with like minds for the betterment of the society. He, once again, on behalf of his family and the entire members of IKENNA Ukwa Progressive Group extended heartfelt wishes to Barr Joe Kalu and his wife, on their recently concluded, blissful and successful marriage ceremony.

A courtesy visit by His Excellency Distinguished Senator Orji Uzor Kalu & his entourage to Chief Dr. Joseph Eke Kalu (Onwa Ohafia) at his residential country home London Villa in Ohafia, Abia State.

During the visit, His Excellency's first words were; "I know your interest in the completion of the Isiugwu road, it is already in the budget." A proof of it was shown and the target is that it will be completed this year.

His host and other great sons of Isiugwu including the Ezieogo, Barr. K. I. Oleh, Chief Chukwudi Chuks Kalu (Agumba) and others were very pleased to hear this.

A vote of thanks was said by Chief Dr. Joe Kalu (Onwa Ohafia).
