Idemili South Mayor, Dr. Mrs Amaka Obi Celebrates Governor Soludo On Triplets Awards.

The Mayor of idemili South local government area, Dr. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), has extends warm congratulations to the Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, on receiving triplets awards from House of Representatives of the U.S State of South Carolina.

In a statement made available to her media office, Dr. Obi said that the well-deserved honour is an affirmation to Mr. Governor's tireless efforts in steering the state towards transformation, saying that Charly Nwa Mgbafor's commitment to building confidence, trust and integrity in governance, as well as his administration's strides in promoting unity, peace and development are truly commendable.

Dr. Obi commends Governor Soludo's efforts in promoting education, economic growth and development in the state and assured him of the council area continued support and unprecedented votes in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

Idemili South Campaign Team Holds Collaborative Meeting.

In a bid to win all the wards and pooling units for All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA), in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, idemili South campaign team led by the Local government Campaign Chairman, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu(Onyechimelu'eze), and the Co-Chairman, Dr. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), today, Friday 26th September, 2025, held their meeting with the campaign team for Soludo/Ibezim re-election.

The meeting was held in ldemili South local government secretariat Ojoto and was witnessed by stakeholders including Onitsha North Mayor, Hon. Nweze Tony Nworah and Onitsha North APGA Chairman, who is the CofC, Chief Okwy Maduekwe(Prof.).

Speaking during the meeting, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu expressed confidence that patriotic people of Anambra will vote massively for Governor Soludo on November 8.

Earlier In his opening remarks, ldemili South APGA Chairman, Chief Kizito Anoliefo, who is the secretary of the campaign said that history has been made as many prominent figures from opposition parties are defecting to APGA, adding that ndi Anambra are eager and prepared to deliver APGA in the November 8 governorship election.

On her part, the Mayor of idemili South, Dr. Amaka Obi urged the members of the campaign team to take the message of continuity of good governance to every nook and crannies of their wards.

Also speaking was Commissioner for Entertainment, Culture and Tourism, Hon. Don Onyenji, Special Adviser to Governor on Youth Development, Dr. Nelson Omenugha, Hon. Obiora Obiabunmuo, Chairman ASUBEB, Mrs Vera Nwadinobi, PPSSC Chairman, Professor Nkechi Ikediugwu, Idemili South Deputy Mayor, Hon. Ifeanyi Anakuba, State APGA Assistant Treasurer, Hon. Uche Maduekwe and Hon. Ebuka Igwe appealed to the members to put more effort in their various wards and pooling units.

As Anambra gubernatorial election draw nearer, Oba Central Youth Commander, Mr Chijioke Emebo(Jonky), his elder brother, Nze Chidi Emebo(Nwajiugonnia), and their supporters joined All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA), as APGA Chieftain, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu(Onyechimelu'eze), holds strategic meeting with Oba ward 1 and 2 party executives, stakeholders.

Speaking during the meeting, Chief Iyiegbu described the defection as a strategic win for APGA, hailing the development as a reaffirmation of governor's growing popularity and a signal of more high-defections in the month ahead.

Chief Iyiegbu cited the transformative leadership and developmental strides of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, as the driving force behind their moves.

APGA Is Not Just A Political Party, It Is A Movement, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu Says As He Holds Strategic Meeting in Oba.

Ahead of November 8 governorship election in Anambra State, the Chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA), who is also the Chairman of Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR re-election campaign for ldemili South, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu(Onyechimelu'eze), widely known as Ike Cubana has said that APGA is not just a political party but a movement.

Chief Iyiegbu made this statement earlier on Monday, 22nd September, 2025, when he held strategic meeting with Oba ward 1 and 2 and estate executives at Oba, stating that the forthcoming gubernatorial election is a must win for the benefit of the people of Anambra state.

He stated that human capital development is top-priority of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR administration, which he said that many youths had been empowered and in few days, over 8, 000 youths will also be empowered with their own start-up funds.

While highlighting the achievements of Governor Soludo in less than four years in office, he urged them to forge a formidable and united front in working for the victory of the party in the governorship election.

I was delighted to join the good people of Idemili North at Abatete, together with over 4,000 Ndi Idemili South, to welcome our dear Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR. It was a colorful and historic gathering that once again reflected the love and confidence our people have in the Solution Governor. The massive turnout was a clear demonstration of the unity and determination of Idemili people to continue supporting the progressive agenda of Mr. Governor in building a liveable and prosperous Anambra State.

As Anambra gubernatorial election draw nearer, the women leaders from seven communities in idemili South local government area, have re-affirmed their commitment to re-election of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR.

Over the weekend, I attended a funeral service of late Apostle John Ndubuisi Ifechukwu at Umuanuka, Otolo Nnewi.

Late Apostle John Ndubuisi was a great man but death snatched him away from us.

He was a worthy man and a teacher per excellent who left indelible prints of good legacies that will stand the test of time.

His departure to eternal glory will forever remain in our hearts and we are comforted by his good legacies.

I pray that Almighty God grants him rest till the resurrection morning.

On Saturday 13th September 2025, I alongside major stakeholder in Idemili South, Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu(Onyechimelu'eze), joined Chief Emeka Mbonu(Akuamia), to condole with Onwuamadike's family over the death of their mother, late Mrs Ezinne Paulina Ngozi at Umudunu village, Awka-Etiti.

It is very painful to lose a loved one especially the vessel through which God brought us to the world. It is a bitter pill to swallow. The good account given by others about the deceased showed that she was a virtuous woman who trained her children in the way of the Lord.

We urged the family to take solace from the words of God which says, there is time to be born and time to die, and every mortal at one time or the other will surely die when the time comes.

We pray that Almighty God will grant her eternal rest and grant her immediate family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
