The visit of Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo to Oba Estates in Idemili South Local Government Area marks a significant moment of responsive leadership and grassroots engagement.

His presence was not just symbolic but a strong demonstration of his commitment to directly interface with the people and understand their pressing needs. The residents of the estates, who have long suffered irregular power supply, expressed both their concerns and their hopes for swift intervention.

In his characteristic hands-on approach, Governor Soludo did not only listen but also acted immediately by approving the release of a new transformer to address the power challenges in the area. This prompt response underscores his administration’s dedication to solving basic infrastructure issues that affect the daily lives of Ndi Anambra. It also reflects the governor’s broader agenda of building a livable, smart, and modern homeland for all residents of the state.

The transformer, once installed, is expected to bring about steady power supply to the Oba Estates, improving security, boosting small businesses, and enhancing the general standard of living. It is a much-needed relief for the residents, many of whom rely on constant electricity to support their economic activities. With this development, the people of Oba are optimistic that more infrastructural upgrades will follow under Soludo’s administration.

It was an honour to join His Royal Highest, Igwe Mac-Anthony Chinedu Okonkwo( Ezedioramma),and the people of Alor kingdom to celebrate new yam festival.

The Igbo yam festival not only has brought togetherness, unity, love and strength, but also development over time.

New yam festival is a unique heritage and one of the outstanding cultural activities in Igbo land which marks the beginning of a traditional New year, and signifies the end of planting season and ushers in new yam. Let us sustain the tempo.

I also used the occasion to further reassure the patriotic people of Alor and Idemili South of my avowed determination to continue consolidating on the efforts of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, on grassroot level.

I equally called on the people to remain steadfast in their support for Governor Soludo and APGA.

Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu, Dr. Amaka Obi Storm Stadium As Obosi Rally Support For Governor Soludo's Re-election.

A Chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance(APGA), Chief Ikenna Iyiegbu (Onyechimelu'eze), the Mayor of idemili South, Dr. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), alongside State APGA Assistant Treasurer, Hon. Uche Maduekwe(Igwe) storms Stadium as the good people of Obosi in ldemili North Rally support for Governor Charles Soludo's re-election.

Speaking during the event, Chief Iyiegbu commended Governor Soludo for the infrastructural and educational developments, youth empowerment, etc. in idemili.

He stated that apart from the projects in Obosi and Idemili as a whole, Governor Soludo has given key appointments to the indigenes of ldemili, especially the commissioner for Works Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma, who is a round peg in a round hole. He appreciated his kind gesture, stating that the whole of ldemili will vote unanimously for APGA.

On her part, Dr. Amaka Obi maintained that Anambra is APGA, and the victory of the party is assured.

The summit was marked by overwhelming presence of God, bringing blessings and inspiration to all the attendees.

Hon. Amaka Obi Gives Petty Traders Cash Gifts In Celebration Of Governor Soludo's 65th Birthday Anniversary.

In the spirit of celebration of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo's 65th birthday anniversary and in continuation of her government's policy of impacting on lives at the grassroots, which is sync with Professor Soludo's mantra, the Mayor of idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), PhD, gave cash gifts to petty traders at Eke Awka-Etiti market.

Speaking during the event, Dr. Obi appreciated them for their support, stating that women occupied key positions in Governor Soludo's administration.

She noted that Anambra First Lady, Dr. Mrs Nonye Soludo has empowered a lot of women through Healthy Living initiative and urged women to double their support for Anambra State government.

The market women were full of praises for Dr. Amaka Obi for her generosity and the initiative to remember them at this hard time. They pledged their unalloyed support for Governor Soludo's re-election.

Idemili South Mayor, Hon. Amaka Obi Attends Nnobi, Nnokwa New Yam Festival, Lauds Rich Cultural Heritage.

The Mayor of idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), alongside idemili South APGA Chairman, Chief Kizito Anoliefo and stakeholders attended new yam festival in Nnobi and Nnokwa communities.

Dr. Mrs Amaka Obi lauded the rich cultural heritage in the state, stating that one cannot be divorced from the culture and tradition of one's land.

Council Mayor described Iri Ji festival as one that must be sustained, not only in the communities but other parts of the state.

She described the two communities as a peace loving and have been consistent in sustaining the age long Iri Ji tradition. She further congratulated the two traditional rulers for the successful new yam festival.

Dr. Mrs. Nonye Soludo, the esteemed wife of the Governor of Anambra State, has once again demonstrated the true essence of compassion and service to humanity by marking her birthday through impactful charitable acts. Idemili South Mayor, Hon. Amaka Obi Gives Free Fuel To Motorcycle Drivers To Mark Governor Soludo's 65th Birthday.

In the spirit of birthday celebration of Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, the Mayor of idemili South local government area, Hon. Mrs Amaka Obi(Iyom Ife-Abata), has given free fuel to over 200 motorcycle drivers.

Council Mayor said that the gesture was to celebrate Governor Soludo's birthday as well as ease economic hardship among motorcycles(Okada).

She thanked the Okada riders for their resilience and commitment in surviving the very challenging economy and appealed to them to continue to support the administration of Governor Soludo.

Expressing joy and gratitude for the good gesture, some of the beneficiaries who were full of praise to Hon. Obi for her magnanimity prayed that Almighty God will continue to bless her as over one thousand of them all got served.
