Faith That Never Fails

Grace had prayed for years. She longed for a child, yet every month brought disappointment. Friends offered advice, doctors gave answers, but her heart clung to one truth: “Emi Le se oun gbogbo ninu Kristi, eni to n fi agbara fun mi.” (I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.)

Every morning, she knelt by her bedside, lifting her hands and surrendering her desires to God. Some days were hard. Tears fell, doubts whispered, and the waiting felt endless. But her faith did not waver, because she knew God’s timing was perfect, and His plans were higher than hers.

One evening, while reading the Word, a verse stood out: “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Suddenly, her heart felt light. She realized that faith wasn’t about forcing answers, it was about trusting the One who holds all answers.

Months later, Grace received news that filled her with indescribable joy: she was expecting! The years of waiting, tears, and prayers had not been wasted. Her faith had moved the hand of God, and His promises had never failed.

Guys! Faith is not just believing in miracles, it’s trusting God even when the impossible seems far away.

I used to hate waking up for vigils at 10… now I can’t start a day without prayer….

When I was 10, my dad would tell me to pray about everything I wanted for my future. He’d say, “Don’t just wish, pray. It if going to the store house.” And my mum… oh my mum had her own ways. She’d hold her cane in church just to make sure I was paying attention during Bible study. She’d insist I wake up for vigils, even when all I wanted was to stay under the warm covers. Back then, it felt like so much, like punishment dressed up as discipline.

Now that I’m grown, I can’t help but smile at it. Funny enough, those things that once felt strict are now the things I can’t do without. A day without prayer feels off, like something inside me is missing. I wake up at midnight to pray, set aside days for fasting, and feel heavy when I don’t read my Bible.

Adulthood is funny that way. Life shows you over and over who you really need. The one person you can’t do without, the one who holds you steady when everything else shakes, is God.

And honestly… I wouldn’t trade those childhood “punishments” for anything.

✨Redeemed in Lagos! ✨

The night streets of Lagos never slept, and neither did Chinyere. They called her Olosho, a name whispered in fear and envy, a shadow that danced between neon lights and broken promises. Every step she took echoed her life, loud, fast, yet hollow. 💔

She lived for the money, the power, and the fleeting smiles of strangers who never stayed. Inside, her heart ached with a hunger she could not fill, an emptiness no flashy car, designer heels, or crowded club could mask.

Then came a Sunday she never expected. A soft hymn floated from a tiny church tucked between high walls and crowded stalls. Something tugged at her, a whisper, a nudge, a hope she had long buried. She stood there, staring at people singing, praying, smiling. The words struck deep: “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened…”

Her first steps inside were hesitant. The wooden pews smelled of faith, the air thick with prayers. A pastor spoke of love so pure it could wash away every shame and every regret. Chinyere felt a fire inside, not the burning of the streets, but a warmth that melted her chains. 🔥

Tears fell as she knelt. “Lord, I… I do not know if I deserve You,” she whispered. His presence was louder than her past, stronger than her fear. In that moment, she gave Him everything, the nights, the lies, the broken dreams. He gave her something she had never known: peace, hope, and freedom.

Weeks passed. Chinyere traded neon lights for candlelight, provocative wears for decent wears, and whispers of shame for songs of joy. She became His daughter, no longer the Olosho of the night streets, but a woman reborn in Christ, shining brighter than the Lagos sun. ☀️

Now, when people whisper her name, it is different. Not fear. Not envy but awe. The One who saves the lost had found her, and He had made all things new. ✨

📖 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. The old has gone, the new is here.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17

💫 GOD SHOWED UP FOR ME YESTERDAY! 😭

I lost my job 7 months ago, and survival has been tough. Lagos isn’t kind to anyone without a steady income and being a single lady here, the pressure was unbearable.

Two nights ago, I went to bed hungry and broken. I whispered, “God, please send me help. Just don’t let me see shame.”

The next morning, I woke up weak at 5:43am, rolled over, and drifted back to sleep. When I finally got up past 10am, reality hit me hard, the street vendor I bought spaghetti from three weeks ago would soon come knocking.

I had been avoiding her because I still owed ₦10,000.

Not long after thinking about her, there was a knock on my door. I froze. She knew I was inside.
Her voice pierced through the silence

“You’ve been owing me for over a month. You begged for another credit and I gave it to you, but now you’re dodging me whenever you pass. I’ll come back at night, and you won’t like what I’ll do!”

As her footsteps faded away, tears rolled down my cheeks. I broke down and cried out, “God, help me. Don’t let me be put to shame.”

It wasn’t even ten minutes later when my phone chimed.
I reached for it, half-dazed and saw a message from a friend:

“Hi babe, please send your account number.”

My heart skipped. Could it be?

I quickly sent it, and within seconds, I got a credit alert of ₦100,000! 😭

This same friend had promised months ago to raise something for me after I lost my job. I waited back then, but as time passed, I let it go, knowing how hard things are for everyone these days.

But God remembered me. Six months later, just when I needed it most He showed up.

I called her, thanked her deeply, and prayed over her life. Then I rushed straight to Mama Ayo’s store, apologized, and paid off my debt.

God has done many miracles for me, but this one… this one stood out. Because it came when I was at my lowest.

If you’ve ever felt forgotten, please remember this, God still sends help, even at the last minute. 🙏🏽

Have you ever experienced such a miracle too?
