Meet Ebira Born Female Professor of Mathematics- Prof. (Mrs.) Hassana Oseiwu ALI
Prof. Hassana Oseiwu Ali was born in Obehira in Okene Local Government Area of Kogi to Mallam AbdulMalik Amuju and Mrs Aminatu AbdulMalik Amuju both of blessed memories. She had her Primary education at St Paul's Primary school, Ageva and her Secondary school at Government Girls Secondary school, Obangede, all in Okene and Okehi Local Govt areas of Kogi State.
She holds B. Sc ( Ed.) in Mathematics and an M. Ed from the University of Portharcourt. A Ph.D in Educational Measurement and Evaluation, Research and Statistics from University of Calabar.
As an Educational Philosopher, a Mathematics Educator, a Measurement expert, an Evaluator, a Researcher and Statistician, she has taught courses in these areas for more than 3 decades, ranging from Secondary Schools to University level.
Professor (Mrs.) Hassana Oseiwu ALI has authored five textbooks; Fundamental of Statistics and Computer Application in Education and Social Sciences, Educational Research Methods, Business Statistics: A simplify Approach, Educational Measurement and Evaluation for Colleges and Universities, and Historical and Philosophical Foundations of Sciences.
She is a member of the following Professional bodies: Association of Education Researchers and Evaluators of Nigeria (ASSEREN), Pan - Africa Congress of Mathematicians (PACOM), National Association of Teachers of Technology ( NATT), Mathematics Association of Nigeria (MAN), Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN), Organization of Women in Sciences of Developing World (OWSD), and a Registered Teacher with Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) and many others too numerous to mention.
She was a Part - Time lecturer with University of Calabar and Imo State University (Bayelsa State study centre). She was a Pioneer Head of Department; Science Education, Kogi State University, a one time visiting lecturer with Veritas University, Àbujà and presently a Dean; College of Education,Salem University Lokoja.
Prof. (Mrs.) Hassana Oseiwu ALI has attended several National and international academic conferences and presented papers. She has written about thirty four (34) articles in a reputable lmpact/Index International and national Journals. And has contributed five chapters in books of Reading.
Professor Hassana Oseiwu ALI is not Left out in Spiritual matters.
She is an ordained Pastor and Elder with Greater Evangelism World Crusade Ministry, whose headquarters is in Portharcourt. She pioneered the Branch in Kogi State. She is an amiable teacher in the classroom and in the house of God.
She is the founder of Hassana Education Foundations for the girl child, the needy, and the young children that are good in Mathematics from primary school.
She presently sponsors some Ebira children at the Secondary School level.
She's happily married with Children.
