FEMININE PAIN

Have I ever put you down there?
Then, pose myself like a god for you to bear?
Ever denied myself your strength to fear?
Forgive my head,
For now I know the pain and it fears.

Every five days in thirties,
Every days of supposed happy mating,
Every 9 month when soul initiates,
Forgive my head,
For now I know the pain and it fears.

Now I see thee not as a companion,
But thou equal with me in compassion.
With strength of the pain you bear in fashion,
Forgive my head,
For now I know the pain and it fears.
