ADAVI-EBA STAKEHOLDERS RECEIVE OJENYA, APPLAUD BOLD STEP TOWARD 2027 HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES RACE; AS HE SECURES WARD BACKING, PREACHES PEACE AND PARTY LOYALTY.
On the 28th of April, 2026, Hon. Adams Mustapha Ojenya, a leading aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Okehi/Adavi Federal Constituency under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), paid a strategic visit to his ward, Adavi-Eba, in Adavi Local Government Area.
The visit brought together key stakeholders and a large number of ward executives, creating a platform for meaningful engagement and consultation. During the meeting, Hon. Ojenya formally declared his intention to contest in the 2027 general elections, humbly seeking the support, mentorship, and guidance of party leaders and grassroots members.
In his address, he highlighted the steady progress the party has recorded from the national level down to the ward structure, attributing these achievements to the capable leadership of Hajia Mariam Ibrahim Salihu Adoke and Alh. Abdulazeez Issa Araga. He reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty and commitment to the party’s leadership in Adavi LGA and beyond, emphasizing his readiness to contribute to the continued growth and success of the ADC.
Hon. Ojenya also used the opportunity to preach unity, peace, and cohesion among party members, urging them to shun politics of bitterness and division. He stressed the importance of strengthening the party at the grassroots through sustained membership drive, noting that the ADC e-registration portal remains open for new members to join.
The event was graced by notable party figures, including the Adavi-Eba party leader, Hon. Embassy, the ward chairman, youth leader, woman leader, the Adavi LGA ADC Auditor General, and many other loyal party faithful. The opening prayer was delivered by Ustaz Mustapha Abdullahi.
In his remarks, Hon. Embassy warmly welcomed Hon. Ojenya commended him for taking the bold step to formally declare his ambition, expressing optimism about his chances of success. The ward chairman also spoke, urging all aspirants to embrace unity and prioritize the party’s collective interest above personal ambitions.
