Yesterday, I land back for Naija from UK where I go do plenty meetings, including one with di Commonwealth Secretary-General. As I reach Nigeria, I waka go Agulu, Anambra State, to show face for di burial Mass and burial of Miss Somtochukwu Maduagwu, dat fine "Arise News" journalist wey armed robbers cut her life short for Abuja, right inside her own house.

E pain me well-well to see pesin wey get bright future just go like dat. Somtochukwu na correct example of young pesin wey sabi and dey put body for work. Her love for truth and di way she take her job serious show say our young pipo fit do wonders if dem get beta chance. To lose dis kind fine talent to insecurity no be only her family loss, na whole Nigeria loss.

Her warm heart, kindness, and cool spirit touch everybody wey know her. My heart and prayers dey with her papa, mama, brothers, sisters, and everybody wey dey mourn dis big loss. I pray say God go console her family, give dem strong heart, and help dem bear dis pain.
