To the Governor of Anambra State,

Thank you for your commitment to governance and the welfare of the people. However, I respectfully wish to express my concern regarding recent comments directed at men of God.

In the Bible, when Jesus was tempted by Satan to turn stones into bread, He responded, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God." Faith and ministry are not matters that can be subjected to human tests or conditions.

Men of God do not need to heal the sick or raise the dead to prove a point to any government official. Their calling comes from God, not from man. Therefore, no one has the authority to demand signs and wonders as a condition for validating their ministry.

If indeed such statements were made, they risk ridiculing the Christian faith and offending the sensibilities of believers. The Church remains a vital institution in society, and mutual respect between government and religious bodies is essential.

May God grant us all wisdom, humility, and understanding as we serve humanity in our various capacities.

May God have mercy on us all.
