GOD HAS FORGIVEN YOU
That is one of the purposes for his death. He went through shame and pain just for you to be forgiven.
Why is it that you can't forgive yourself?
Why do you still dwell on your past?
Why do you think you can't be forgiven?
Constantly replaying past regrets, mistakes, or losses can keep you stuck in a cycle of sadness, guilt, or anger.
Matthew 11:28 says;
Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
This shows how much God loves you and cares for you. Even though he was flogged, humiliated, and disgraced when he came to die for you to be forgiven, he still loves you.
MOVE ON. Don't define yourself by your past instead of who you are now or who you will become. When you focus on what's behind you, it's easy to overlook what's in front of you (growth, opportunities, happiness). Dwelling in the past can only take from you and add nothing to your growth.
No matter what might have been done to you and you feel like you can't forgive the person, Remember God forgave you, so who are you not to forgive? FORGIVE AND FORGET. Leave your past and focus on God's purpose for your life. This is God's promises for you....
ISIAH 43:18-19
Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
