🚨President Bola Tinubu has announced that Nigeria’s security training schools and institutions — such as those for the Police, Civil Defence, and other security agencies — are in very poor and outdated condition. Because of that, he has declared a state of emergency on them.

This means the government now sees the situation as very urgent and serious, and wants to fix it quickly.

He has also given state governors and security chiefs (like the heads of the Police, Army, and Civil Defence) 30 days — that’s one month — to prepare and submit a full report about the state of these training facilities.

The report will likely include:

What condition the training schools are in,

What problems they face (old buildings, lack of equipment, poor funding, etc.),

And what needs to be done to improve them.
