Let’s be honest!
We don’t listen to our bodies until they scream.

We wait until the headache becomes unbearable…

This body I carry
Owned by me
Not borrowed.
Not built from stone.
But day by day, I move in it like it’s indestructible.
Stretching it thin,
Filling it with noise,
Draining it without pause….

And still,
It wakes.
It walks.
It tries.

But then I remember ,
Even the strongest fabric tears
when neglected or used carelessly

Have I prayed for strength?…..but denied it rest?
Have I seeked for health?…..yet refused it nourishment?

Care is not carnal.
It’s covenant.
And neglect isn't humility
It's quiet rebellion.

So today,
I pause.
I breathe.
I choose to be kind… to this body I carry.

And sometimes kindness looks like detoxing the gut.
Moisturizing the skin.
Oiling the scalp.
It looks like castor oil.... pure, patient & powerful.
Just like you.

NOT A DESTINATION

When would I get there? How do I get there? What do I do to get there? This has been the questions many have been asking over time, you'll probably be thinking where is the "there", It's the Top.

We want to get there, obviously ,we all want to, but the question is what would you have attained to say, I've gotten there. Is it when you get a good paying Job? Or when you travel out? Ohh, or when you get married?

What is that to you? You say it's success, Yes, it is, but do you always think about what it takes to get there? Or what to do when you get there? Are you going to strive more, put more effort or relax, of course you've gotten there.

Many years ago, Volkswagen Beetle, Honda element, Peugeot, Dodge Charger, dodge Dakota are one of the best cars any man would pray to have and any man who has that is a successful man, but if a man had that and stayed on the fact that he has gotten one of the best cars and did nothing more, What do you think would be happening to him in 2024, lol 😂, he will be tagged unsuccessful,poor or outdated man because all this cars are no longer valued , why do you think that'll be happening to him? Simply because he felt he has gotten to his destination.

Maybe he should have not stop and kept going, working harder, setting new goals and achieving them.

It's a great thing to be successful, of course we all want to be, it'll be beautiful getting there but strive to keep going because the sky is not the limit.

This is a call for self development, keep doing more, you might have been able to read, pray or work ceaselessly for 3 hours stretch now, don't be too overwhelmed.😊, but congratulations you were able to achieve that, but more congratulations to come when you achieve more, because if you stay there, a time will come that your mate will be conveniently doing 6 hours and that your 3 hours will be nothing but a child's play. Wouldn't it be a more hard and stressful work not to give up and continue to meet up?

Well, set goals, achieve them and set more to keep achieving more and never be out of date. Because, the success you see is not a destination, but a journey. Many people think success is a finite endpoint, a destination to be reached and celebrated but the truth is, it's a continuous process, a journey of growth and self improvement. Get on the journey, and keep doing more. Congratulations is never too much, is it? Definitely no 😊

Success is a path filled with twists and turns, ups and downs and valuable lessons to be learned along the way. But trust me they are worth it sooooo, see you at the TOP, remember, success is not the destination.

CAN I?

Can I? What do you think of that? A question of approval right? Well, maybe you can. That's exactly what she did. You'll have been thinking, who is she?

It's Annie, she had lived on the top of a tower all her life, and she can only get the chance to go down freely when she's turned 20, before this time, she had been thinking of what she'll do when she get down and how to live her life.

The day came, she ran joyously to the top of the tower, and she said, I'm now of age and I'm eligible to go down, can I? Well, she obviously is, they permited her, She was very excited, but then she looked down and saw a long distance from the tower to the ground, and she thought, Not bad! and suddenly a memory flashed a crossed her mind and she remembered numerous movies she had watched when one will be running after the other and will jump off different cliffs, to the ground and not even having a bruise, maybe she should be like him she thought of this because that's the only knowledge she had about coming down, and boom, Annie got on the top of the cliff and joyously jumped from the tower and gbam, she reached the ground, oh! You think she succeeded without having a bruise as well, No, she went straight to the other world, ahh! So painful.

Didn't she ask right? Can she not? She definitely can, but never thought of asking, How can I?

A little knowledge is not a waste, your imagination is not the best tutor or what you can rely on, you can simply ask how you can do things if you don't know, it will definitely save you the stress, cost, thinking and even death like Annie died.

What do you think would have happened if she had asked, how can I get down the tower, and she will be shown the way to the stairs that would lead her down peacefully.

Not everyone will think you don't know how to if you don't ask how you can, just asking can you?

It's good to seek for knowledge but never put aside the place of asking from sources who knows better and have experience than you.

It might be in your career, academic life, spiritual life and so on. Don't just ask if it's good to do this, don't just ask if you can, but ask how you can possibly do it best. SEE YOU AT THE TOP
