When a baby stops kicking, don't drink malt and relax. A quiet baby inside the womb is not a lazy baby, it can be a dying baby. I'm saying this with my full chest today: nothing annoys me more than when a pregnant woman says, 'The baby hasn't moved since morning,' and someone replies, 'Go and drink malt and sleep, the baby is just resting.' Which baby rests the whole day? Which baby keeps quiet for hours without saying, 'Mummy, I'm okay,' with a kick? A baby in the womb communicates through movement. Kicks are not for fun, they are life signals, they are your baby's way of shouting, 'I am alive, I am getting oxygen, I am okay in here.' So, when kicks reduce or stop, it is not normal. It can mean a cord problem, placenta not working well, baby lacking oxygen, baby in distress, or baby fighting for life. And time is not your friend at that moment because a baby can be alive now and gone in a few hours if nobody checks. Let me put it clearly.
