Some people stopped expecting honesty from everyone after discovering how easily people can pretend. A person can smile and still carry hidden intentions. They can speak kindly while secretly competing, judging, or waiting for failure to happen. Experiences like that change how someone moves through life. They become more observant, more careful, and less emotionally available. Not because they hate people, but because trust became something earned instead of freely given.

I don’t think y’all heard Donnie McClurkin when he said, “a saint is just a sinner who fell down, and got up”. 😩🥹 Listen, you may fall down, but you don’t have to stay there! Get back up again, even if you have to lean on God fully while you do it. Even if it takes you a little longer than you expected. Even if you have to do it with tears in your eyes. Get back up again!!

Everybody bragging about “I work 70 hours a week” like that’s a flex. That ain’t living to me. I’m not about to spend my whole existence exhausted, stressed, and missing life just so a company can hit their numbers.

I wanna laugh, travel, sleep in sometimes, enjoy my people, and actually FEEL alive. Money matters, but not more than peace. Cause one day your job gonna replace you in a week, but your family gotta live without you forever

Some people keep waiting for motivation to change their life while ignoring the importance of discipline. Motivation comes and goes depending on emotions, but discipline continues even on difficult days. The truth is that most successful people were not always inspired. They simply remained committed long enough for results to appear. Consistency is often more valuable than talent.

Sometimes God will allow the same situation to happen again just to see if you finally learned from it 💯 The old you would crash out, argue, react emotionally, and make things worse… but the healed version of you learns how to stay calm, protect their peace, and let God handle it. Growth is responding different when life tests you again 🖤

Some people spend too much energy trying to keep relationships alive that should have ended naturally. They force conversations, ignore red flags, excuse disrespect, and continue pouring effort into people who barely reciprocate. But anything real should not constantly require begging, chasing, or emotional exhaustion to maintain. Some connections become healthier the moment they are released.

And s*x is NOT love 😮‍💨 dates not love. Talking all day not love. Laying up not love. REAL love is somebody seeing your worst moments and STILL choosing you 🤞🏾. It’s somebody calming you down when life heavy, praying for you, protecting your peace, making sure you okay without you asking, staying loyal behind your back, hearing you when you quiet, and cutting off anything that make you uncomfortable 😭 THAT’S love. If you ever get that kind of love… don’t play with it 💯
