One thing that interests me about the teaching ministry of Jesus is how when He wants to teach you how to do something, He often starts by teaching you how not to do that thing.

Interesting style, right?

Take for instance, when He wanted to teach his disciples how to pray, he started the teaching by saying, "When you want to pray, do not..." (Matthew 6:5).

Well, I observed a similar teaching style in my Pastor; Daniel Ogbu too, and guess who has unconsciously been teaching like that? 😊

Well, that's not the purpose of this post, I just want to remind you that sin is not just about actions, it is also about inactions.

Knowing what ought to be done and not doing it is falling short too (James 4:17).

Stay on guard and give the enemy no ground.
