The just concluded ANECON (Anambra Educators Conference) was a big success, and I’m truly grateful we at Phanic Global had the privilege of handling the branded tags, jotters, pens, and paper bags.
But beyond the project itself, there was a special highlight for me. One of my Graphics Design students designed the paper bag we delivered at the event. Before now, my students hadn’t worked on a paper bag design, so I saw this as the perfect opportunity to teach them how it’s done — from the measurements to the layout — ensuring they gain hands-on experience they can carry into the real world.
My initial plan was for my students to handle all the designs, but because of limited time, I couldn’t give enough corrections on every item. So, I took up the jotter and tag designs myself, while letting the student’s paper bag design shine. And honestly, it came out beautiful.
On the night of delivery, I called the client to confirm if the items had been picked up. She replied, “Yes, everything has been picked. The whole work was beautiful. Thank you so much.” For a moment, I had no words — because I felt I should be the one thanking her, for trusting us and giving even my students the chance to grow through this project.
This experience reminded me that Phanic Global Nig.Ltd. is not just about branding, but also about raising the next generation of creative professionals. 💙
