Have you ever made a trouser and wondered why the two legs just refuse to sit properly?
You join everything carefully, only to discover that the inseam is shorter than the outseam.

Sometimes there’s excess fabric around the crotch, the legs don’t fall properly, or one side just looks different from the other.
