Why is a Nigerian man hitting 40 still not married? 🤔

Let’s be real—society is quick to point fingers: “He must be irresponsible… maybe he’s afraid of commitment… or maybe village people are holding him back!” 😂

But pause. The truth isn’t always that shallow. Some men delay marriage because they’re still trying to build financial stability (after all, love doesn’t pay rent 🏠). Others may be healing from heartbreaks, or waiting for the right woman instead of just rushing in to please culture and tradition.

Marriage isn’t a sprint. It’s not about how fast you enter, but how well you last. 👏

So, before you judge that 40-year-old bachelor, ask yourself: is it better to marry late and get it right—or marry early and regret it for life?
