Congratulations to me and this my client. Today, the Delta State Magistrate Court delivered a judgment, in a criminal trial, acquitting and discharging my client. Earlier this year, he was arraigned on a one-count charge for the crime of receiving stolen property, punishable with maximum of 14 years imprisonment with option of fine, pursuant to the Criminal Code Law of Delta State.
By stroke of fortune and divine enablement, I was able to apply my best skills of the law to defend him diligently. Of the 6 defendants charged together, my client was the only one discharged and acquited. The other 5 were convicted and sentenced to various degrees of imprisonment each, the least not less than 3 years.
