Dear Nigerian women, if you do not love a man do not date his money. All these stories of after dating and paying all your bills then at last you say ā€œI don’t really love himā€, these are origins of eternal Wednesday prayers.

Tell him from the beginning that you would like him to be your benefactor or like a parent to you. Some of them will walk away, yeah right; but it’s better for you than deceiving him all through. Think of your future sons being dealt with the same way by some girls.

Men, also learn to hold your libido and focus on your work till it’s time for you to marry. In short go and enroll in this university I recently found online called Gehgeh University 😊 . If you’re easily carried away by the tenderness of our women, join that school sharp sharp and get sense.

On the other side, please Nigerian men know too that the origin of mbigheriaka and liquidation of your resources in future is that other act of after using a girl for libidinal ventures in the name of dating, you then go and marry another girl. See you see village!

Avoid that sxual side if you’re not ready to marry her. If boys do the same to your future daughters you wouldn’t like it. You young men and women make our priestly prayers appear as if they have no answers, not knowing it’s hearts you have broken that keep crying against you. Ka chi foonỄ.

I don’t need a prophet to tell me that all mothers around the world belong to one secret society.

The moment you climb the fourth ladder of Ur life as a mother, you automatically become a member no application, no interview.

Sometimes I just sit and wonder, because how come all mothers have the same exact character?

The way they give sarcastic replies—identical.

The way they insult us, directly or indirectly—identical

Even their style of advice—identical.

But the one that amazes me most is how they bring out ideas of what her family will eat every day

That one needs to be study

MOTHERS ARE TRULY VIRTUOUS
I don’t know how mothers do their things, but God bless all mothers.

My mom will go to the market to buy foodstuffs. Sometimes I look at the little things she brings back and ask, Can this really serve us?

She will just say, ā€œDo you know how much I bought this? You will understand later in life.

I thought my mom was being stingy to herself and to us.

Last week, during her August meeting, she gave me ₦50k to buy what we needed at home.

Naively, I carried two sack bags to the market, thinking I would fill them up and still have change to buy attachments for my hair.

But to my surprise, I could only fill one sack bag. I even sat down to cross-check my list with what I bought.

I didn’t buy anything extra yet the ₦50k was gone.

That day I realized: mothers are truly virtuous women.

During my teenage stage in life (and most of us know what comes with that stage—the zeal to try new things, to explore, and to feel that teenage exuberance, maybe because everyone around that age is doing the same).

But then, I had someone who stood as an obstacle to my teenage light from shining. Because truly, there’s this beauty that comes with teenage years, including how your body develops steadily.

At that time, teenage life never seemed complete without having a boyfriend from your area.

Then, I had a big sister Ufoeze Chidimma who was studying psychology.

Since our house was like home for everyone, all the children in our area used to come around, especially during third-term holidays, to play.

That my big sis always told us she was studying psychology—that she knew all our movements, what we were thinking at that very moment, what we had thought before, and even what we would think next 🫣.

Every weekend, I prayed for her not to come back so we could enjoy our freedom. But no,once it was 5 pm in the evening, I would see children coming with their bags on their head. And that meant another bad weekend for us.

From Wednesday, we would already sit together planning how to lie in uniform so our stories matched.

But lo and behold, the format she would use on us always worked we would end up spitting out the truth, which led to flogging or punishment.

She would always say: ā€œI can read the human mind. I know exactly what you’re thinking. I just want you to say the truth yourself. I already know it, but I want to hear it from you then you’ll be free from my cane.ā€

The fear that she really knew what was in our minds would make us confess. And after saying the truth, the beating would follow.

After everything, we would sit down thinking: How did she find out? How did she know what was in our mind?

It even seemed like she was using some kind of charm. But now that I’m grown, I’ve realized it was just a format.

And come to think of it, that’s the same trick some pastors also use to brainwash people.

Funny enough, I’m now using the same format and I love it šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚.

In life, you can never have it all.
Take me, Oluebube, for example I have full, bushy hair, with edges thick and healthy.

Then there’s Cindy she has long, flowing hair, but her edges are sparse.

I sometimes wish I had her long hair so I could pack it into different styles.
She, on the other hand, wishes for my fuller hair and edges so she could rock any Ghana weaving.

Moral: We often admire what others have, forgetting that someone out there is admiring what we already carry. Learn to appreciate your own beauty.

A FRIEND OF MINE CANCELLED HER WEDDING šŸ’ BECAUSE OF A BRAND NEW WEDDING GOWN

We were having a pivotal conversation about marriage and weddings.
After a long talk, we got to the topic of the wedding gown.

She said she can’t hire a gown that she must sew hers.

I asked her, ā€œWhat if your husband doesn’t have the money?ā€
She replied, ā€œI will."

Then I asked again, What if you can’t afford it?
(Because at that point, I honestly don’t think she could afford it.)

She said the wedding should wait until either she or her husband can afford it even if it takes five years.

So I ask:
Men, do you think that’s a good enough reason to postpone a wedding?

Ladies, can you postpone your wedding because of a brand new gown? Or is she not ready for marriage?

I need your honest opinion.

IT TAKES AN EYES PROBLEM TO OPEN MY EYES
Some friends are truly good, but when it comes to helping you out of a problem, that’s when you realize you’re the one actually doing the befriending.

Years ago, I developed an eye problem, and it became worse during our exam period. I couldn’t concentrate during CBT exams because of the light from the system tears would literally roll down my cheeks.

So, I was discussing with my friends that I needed to go to the hospital to see a doctor because I was battling with serious pain and headaches. But I didn’t want to disturb my people about it, and I didn’t have enough cash.

One of them advised me to talk to all my friends, both online and offline maybe they could assist with small contributions, and I could add it up with what I had.

Before then, I had been saving money for one of my friends. After our discussion, we all left for our different lodges.

The friend I was saving for told me to go ahead and use the money, that I could pay her back later. That’s how I was able to go to the hospital, get my glasses, and buy some medications after undergoing several eye tests.
Till our last day in school she never ask,ask how I was able to raised the money.
