Sometimes, You Don't Realize You're Being Abused Until You Understand the Pattern
I used to think that love meant enduring the difficult moments, forgiving again and again, and trying harder to make the relationship work.
But sometimes, what looks like "relationship problems" is actually a pattern of manipulation, control, gaslighting, blame-shifting, emotional punishment, and psychological abuse.
The hardest part is that it doesn't always begin with cruelty.
Sometimes it begins with charm. Attention. Intense affection. Promises.
And by the time you start noticing that something isn't right, you may already be deeply emotionally attached.
That's one of the reasons I wrote Breaking Free from the Narcissist.
This book is for anyone who wants to understand narcissistic behavior, recognize the warning signs early, identify toxic relationship patterns, set stronger boundaries, protect themselves, and understand when a relationship is no longer healthy.
Inside, we explore the patterns behind:
• Love bombing
• Gaslighting
• Manipulation
• Silent treatment
• Blame-shifting
• Control disguised as love
• Jealousy and triangulation
• Boundary testing
• Emotional confusion
• The cycle of narcissistic abuse
• Breaking free and protecting yourself
• And what healthy love should actually look like
You don't have to wait until you're completely broken before you start paying attention to the signs.
Sometimes, understanding the pattern is the first step toward protecting yourself.
